Just another good reason to leave my Myrms in the hangar...
This plastic blue is one of the worst childish colours around! 
It would take just a little less blue, some black and a hint of red to make it decent... or just revert to the old green, that was a really nice colour, it looks like the ships were washed at VERY high temperature and put one month in the sun to dry.........

eh? fighters are painted in 2 shades of grey not cyan/teal/babyblue. grey is harder to discern on a fast moving object in the sky.
Something wrong with your eyes? Lots of baby blue there, regardless of the color of paint that was used to paint on the camo.
The color of Eve's Trinity ships varies greatly depending on the ambient light, inside stations or in open space.

If this was directed at me, than I was merely pointing out that vigorously and offensively complaining about the color that's currently being used on some lethal instruments of war (among many things) and isn't even constant in the game (since Eve takes place throughout solar systems with suns of a great variety of spectral type) is ghey.

What i really want to know is why the changed the colors in the first place,i mean hell even if they didnt change the color and its the same as the old ones ... why would they leave it so but ugly? I did modding and such i know how easy it is to change colors ... take all of 5 mins per model to change out a few colors.

Hmmmm, I am looking at a Gallente shuttle now, and it looks more yellow than orange to my eyes, but whatever you want to call it, it's not blue OR clownfish orange and white. Let's hope they're playing with some of the other ships as well.

Caldari pilots seems to think the plastic blue is great on spaceships. Why don't we make Raven/Scorp/Rohk/Chimera and every other Caldari T1 ships have this color?

It occurs to me that the only color of the rainbow never yet represented on a Gallente ship is purple. Maybe that should be the new color: Tinkie Winkie purple. They can mount a purse to a high slot to complete the look.

I logged on SISI again this morning only to find nothing changed. I expect a lot of the Gallente ships with just be ugly gray/blue blobs when the patch goes live tomorrow...
I'm still just amazed they could actually make the Dominix look even worse, that takes some special talent. Yet I find the ships of other races now have cool dark metallic colors and overall look better.

I have two problems with the Gallente models right now.
 The lack of diversity, they all have the SAME EXACT color scheme.
The uniform color scheme is that hideous pastel blue.
Even if CCP doesn't want to take the time to give every ship a little bit of individuality, at least change the crappy pastel blue to a darker more metallic blue. Not something that looks like it just came out of a freaking play dough can.

Well it's obvious from the multiple threads that the vast majority want a color change. You can't spend years getting to know every inch of your ships and then have them swapped out for anything other than a major improvement. This is no major improvement. Hell I'm a caldari character but I have always liked Gallente ships and I fly quite a few of them. Please for the love of the Eve Gods and all things holy... Please be merciful and bring back the green.
Actually it makes me wonder if this isn't all part of the "Balancing" where the Amarr get glossy golden sexiness, and the Gallente get the powder blue nerfbat of doom...

You seem to fail to realize that the 3 warplane examples you put in has colors designed to blend in with the sky itself and for your information I did a Google Search for "Fighter Jet" and the majority of the pictures all have gray coloring.
It's quite clear (as shown by the majority of players' comments across the forum) that the baby blue colors does not blend well at all with the space background (while the navy mega and the faction mega both have colors that blends nicely with the hostile EVE gaming space while still carrying the Gallente name and pride in colors).

It's quite clear that the "majority of players" you refer to are a small but vocal minority consisting of you and a bunch of alts. Care to prove me wrong?
While some of those complaining about the color bring up legitimate though subjective issues of taste, most seem to be insecure in that this new color will somehow dredge up some latent urges in their psyche that they've been repressing. Whatever it is you do with it - repress or embrace, it's a bad idea to bring it out on a public forum.

To tell the trush, i loved gallente ship because they are like biomechanical devils. The art of giger is about a "symbolic" view of modernity (feminism, free sex, hypocrisy and so on). I can't elaborate my ideas cuz my english is limited ... But every one who knows symbols will get the idea.
I tought that the old brutix fit in a brillant way with the gallente background.
The gallente are THE "just before doom race" !
They are sexualy subversive (pleasure hub advertising ^^)
They are big hypocrites (blah blah freedom matars and bomb the homeworld of caldas)
They are for "freedom" and liberalism (i don't judge.)
All this themes are in the biomechanical art, where giger incarnate the god of this art. And brutix, the old, were the pictural incarnation of the dark side of the gallente...

I was seriously expecting the Dominix to be a menacing black color with very devilishly lit blue lights with green highlights in very sparse locations.
Menacing. The Dominix. That's the way it should be... now it looks like an inflatable balloon. I was also expecting them to lengthen it a bit instead and make it more "sleek". Imagine chopping off the top and bottom, turning the whole thing black with a bit of blue and green, and lighting it.

i was hoping the new gallente colour is a joke... but it wasnt.
this baby blue on EVERY single T1 ship is so boring to look at. where is the variety? where has for example the beautiful black of the imicus gone?
every single ship looks exactly the same!
besides this there are some (mostly t2) ships which really look good:
Eos, Oneiros, Navythron (although more black could not harm), Deimos.
thats all (cant judge the kronos, havent seen yet)

Then again tastes and colors ... no one has the same point of view (though 95% of corpmates find them ugly too in these weird colors).
