I like the expression. The hairstyle is not my favorite but it's okay on you :) The lighting is fine and the background is okay, the way you tilt your head seems natural.
The piercing above the lips doesn't seem to fit, in my opinion. The framing is kind of boring and a little awkward, I'd like it better if you'd zoom in more on your face. Your upper body and posing just isn't interesting enough to look at to warrant pushing your face to the upper border so much, imo.

I really love this avatar. My only problem is that I think it looks lots better in the small version. When it's zoomed in, the freckles and largish nose/mouth seem to stand out too much, taking away from the glam look you've got going. Still, very very nice. Might be in my top 5 or so, now. :-)

I want to pitch in, but I've already rated yours Tuireann, so I'll skip up to Rakael;
Rakael has a long nose, so a cut off fringe really squares her face up and draws too much attention to it. Try a shorter style and maybe something lighter? I think the main problem is that you've overdone it on the make-up. The heavy blush and bright lipstick makes her look like one of two things; a drag queen or a prostitute.. or both?
I hope you don't think I'm being mean, because I'm not. I'm just hoping you'll read this and decided to spend a little more time perfecting her. I hate to see an avatar with lots of potential wasted.
I could give Rakael a high score, but as she is now? I think a generous 6/10.

Genuinely beautiful. Nice pose with really sharp angles. Lighting is solid as well. Background is meh, but that's never been a huge thing for me unless its overwhelming the portrait.

I like it overall. The color and lighting seems to blend pretty well.
It feels like there's too much space between your eyes and your mouth/chin area though. I don't know if a different tatoo would help, or adjusting the pose, but that's the main issue that sticks out to me. 8/10 |

Hello Alva! I like your mouth and the nose.. but I'm finding it hard to get a real idea of what he looks like. His chin seems pretty huge, but that could just be the angle? I'm a big fan of using shadows to add depth to a characters look, but here you've overdone it a little; the shadows are hiding most of his features and it leaves a little too much to the imagination.
His clothing seems to fit nicely and the hair, however common it may be, happens to work pretty well here. What I'd do is change the angle a little. Give him a pose that isn't so expressionless and definitely work on the lighting!
I see an avatar with potential, but at the moment I can't help but give you a rather mediocre 5.5/10.

I find it fantastic. I love the play of light and shadow. A very attractive, realistic looking avatar; I've never been a fan of short hair on females but yours just fits perfectly. Also you have your lips parted slightly, something not often seen done well on an avatar, usually it ends up making the face look strained and artificial but not in your case.
