I am flattered and all , but ... some actual advice and words would be nice.
About your toon tho, the lighting maybe a bit dark and the angle is a bit.. strange, it conveys submission and weakness.
Perhaps a better angle will do you good, and we'll get a better look at your face that way too :D

Striking, but looking over the shoulder like that doesn't communicate strength. It communicates, "wait, is there someone else in here with me?"
I can definitely see how she could be in command, though, with a more assertive pose. I hate coming up with ratings, but let's say 7.5/10. |

Good one, has character. Seems to be an forthright, competent and confident guy. A responsible officer of some sort, and kind of "naval" looking. The monocle works (which is kind of rare for monocles). Could be a 10 if you somehow added a little drama, or made the character as lifelike as some we see.

But here it goes anyway, I gotta be honest.
The upward right positioning of the character with his head clipped off , and the radiance of male dominance , as shown by the manly muscular chest. Suggest one and only one thing.
He is not a mere mortal , and is looking down on man .
An observer of the man kind, a very powerful one , but one that decides he wont mutter in the affairs of the this world,but instead will watch from a distance, as empires rise , thrived and finally crumbled to the wave of time.
Very atmospheric , great composition.
You should consider moving the toon just a little bit down , so we won't get the sort of lumpy feeling towards the end of the pecs at the bottom.
Its a great avatar.
HOWEVER, the Quafe T-shirt kind of destroyed the entire feeling .
It says you are a walking billboard , a slave to the corporate mind , behind all the rebellious piercings and tradition defying hair style, you are still just a pawn . That kinda ruined it for me.
If you ask me , I'll prefer it if your eyes are shadowed better .

In short , 9/10 , potential to be 9.5.

Thats because the composition there have a meaning.
Its not just pure antithetical and Euclid geometry , like what you are doing.
There is nothing wrong about your toon, but it just doesn't have an IDENTITY!
Which is what an avatar should be about, its not about LOOKING good , its about condensing EVERYTHING that your character represents into a 50x50 image.
So for you , 7/10 for aesthetically precise shot , but down to 5/10 for not having any sort of...... soul
