I like the improvement, works much better.
Only thing is that the neck looks a tad weird, adjusting the posture might possibly help?

As a profile styled portrait, it's very well done related to perspective&light.
The texture in the mouth/chin region looks a little distracted and one of your dreads look strangely semi-transparent.
But that's a matter for the rendering engine...sadly.

I have to admit, this is one of my favorite avatars throughout the whole thread. Full face tatoos are usually a no-no but with your skintone, shape, and lighting it looks great. Its always nice when its the eyes that draw me in rather then any other physical feature. Great job on your Avatar.

Ivy, you have softened up your look, This is nice, in spite of the horrible rating someone else gave... eye of the beholder and all, I suppose.
I like this, 8/10, with the suggestion of getting a little closer in for the shot, but that would mess with your pose and negate it largely... always about compromise around here.
