Edited by: arutu dento on 04/12/2007 00:07:05 ive had it with this game, sure the economy is cool the ships are cool and pvp is cool
but you know what if you dont pvp ccp does nothing to for you to make this game enjoyable
lets say you want to do industrial work you spend half a year or more getting your mining barge together you have to make trips all the time to empire to get your skill books cuz of the ore you refine and constantly have to hual a little at a time its fine if you in your own system but if you need to hual stuff from empire your boned from 1 doochebag camping a gate
its rediculous that ccp made it so easy for 1 person to screw up another person in 2 seconds for what took him an entire day to do. its not even the monerary hit that bugs me its the time i spent flying ALL over empire to get the nessary items and get that all taken away in 2 seconds and be unable to do anything about it. wheres the fairness? how many times do i have to start from scratch cuz of this stupid game. why the hell do i have to sit and take it up the ass? is it so hard to give me an assload or armour and shields? why is it so easy? sure you kill a hualer the loot is yours thats fair but then stuff that is essential to your progress also gets thrown out the window its like ccp wants to spit on ever step of progress you make. you can neither run nor defend nor fight just carry stuff have it stolen and repeat **** you dont even get a fair warning. im like a work horse who had his eyes and ears burnt out and my tendons cut so i cant even run away in the dark
ive had enough

Edited by: Mymain DreadMoros on 04/12/2007 00:09:19 Perhaps haulers armour and shields should be improved. CCP do play the game but they all have 70+ million skillpoints and dont have to worry about it.

you can have my smoldering ashes i dont really have anything else that would be of value. everythign else belongs to the corp on principle. thats my point i dont play this game for myself i do things for the group it takes me all day and i see very little action that would keep most entertained cuz of the way the economy works it seems to me that unless youve got 20mil skill points and a carrier you screwed in this game unless you fight. i cant even begin to tell you how many corps dont even mine all income comes from PVP activity

SO basically you want CCP to grant YOU a special invincibility shield, just for YOU to get YOUR stuff safely transported? Excuse me. But we all play by the same rules. Why shouldnt you? And how can 1 person gatecamp you? Did you run on autopilot? If so, LOLZ, if not.. Ever heard of warp core stabilizers? Ever heard of shield boosters? Microwarpdrives? Or the easiest way to not get ganked, dont fly autopilot.............

Quick tip, whine about Assault Frigates being crap. Nobody will ask for your stuff cause nobody wants an AF!
My original sig was 'Enjoy lag free play in a dynamic space MMORPG'. It was removed for lack of EVE content! ;) No AF fixes in Trinity! Same sh1t, different engine |

[gripe about industrial ship tank]
Use a carrier or freighter with heavy escort. If you don't have one contract the job to a carrier or freighter pilot or join an industrial corporation that would help you with this kind of thing. Or, since you've been in game more than six months, use a t2 hauler- they're surprisingly effective. With some friends escorting with reps you should be very safe.
See where this is going? Eve is not a solo game. You are not supposed to be able to safely haul your junk between 0.0 and empire in large quantities by yourself in any kind of safety. If you think it's CCP's fault that you can't live out of a t1 industrial making wacky profits then you are playing the wrong game.

1. user scouts 2. use built in autopilot options to plan a route around low sec 3. when buying stuff, use a faster ship where possible, exequeror comes to mind 4. stabs. you dont NEED to have all expanders fitted in your lows 5. plan ahead, so you dont make so many trips 6. rorqual. go look it up, and see what CCP has given to industrialists. 7. LOOK AT NUMBER SIX, AND REALIZE WHATS POSSIBLE.
that is all.

Edited by: Majestik on 04/12/2007 00:36:30 If the cargo is important to your corp maybe you guys can figure out ways to get the cargo to your base safely like the military operations I watch in some movies and documentaries on the history channel.......and the space opera novels I read.
I think that is what this game is all about and the purpose of all these different types of ships. Could be fun.

Hmm, hard to read bit ranty.
If you're asking for invulnerbilty, no.
If you are asking for new types of Blockade Runners, say versions that are larger with heavier armor, or weaponry then Id say yes, EVE probably does need such 'Combat Merchant' vessels.

You are made of fail.
Now, learn to play the game already.
Also, don't run around with skillbooks (i think you said something about this), plug them into your head mmmkay? I'm installing a cap ship skill in a few days and I'm sure as hell not running it around in a ship. I'm gonna clone jump... install... clone jump... yay.

Oh, give me a break. If you want to make a reasonable amount of cash as a miner/industrialist in this game you avoid low sec, or for that matter 0.0, unless you have heavy corp support and proper logistics.
You can make tons of cash doing both the above in high sec without too much trouble (unless you don't pay attention).
If you must go 0.0/low sec then its not a good solo option for mining (at least not until you have made enough cash to support yourself getting blown up a few times and losing everything).
Too many folks in this game want to have an 'easy' button for the PvP zones of the game. Get over it.

Edited by: Zinras on 04/12/2007 01:05:21 Ever heard of friends? You know, those people you meet ingame or know IRL that can help you through the less secure parts of space. And if you don't know anyone that would want to escort you, you could probably hire someone to do it.
Besides, it's not like the rest of us, even in our shiny battleships, can avoid being blown up if we fly around randomly in lowsec/0.0 with no scout or backup (or high sec if there's a war going on or someone has kill rights on you - people just like shooting eachother in the face).
Also, I would very much like to have your stuff.

Nah, on a more serious note; You gotta' love the cold cynical world of New Eden. No other game I know can get you so heated up, paranoid, about an in-game happening. I love EVE for precisely that! Enjoy, and fly safe..
