Are you serious? Honestly? Is a Goon going to pop up and say "lol, spam thread!"
Look man, if you want it easy, go play a single player game and use a trainer or cheats. Drones don't come from space, so surely you missed something.
"wheres the fairness? how many times do i have to start from scratch cuz of this stupid game." um.. try not carrying all of your assets in one single cargo. And don't you think if you got your way people would be saying "where's the fairness? how many times do I have to shoot a hauler before it goes pop??"
Blaming CCP because you're a dunce is absolutely stupid. Stupid.
I say fine, leave. Have fun in some other MMO. But do be sure to stay in school, okay? --- lol.. I messed up.

So let me get this straight, if you lose at a game it is the fault of whoever created the game for not making it easier to you to win? They are to blame for you screwing yourself over and over again?

you guys are bunch of cynical ass hats get off your high horse
the facts are these
-the roqals purpose is not to do runs between empire and 0.0 -the point of this thread is to point out the obvious pandering to high level players, where as new players are left to fend against unreasonable circumstances -also bare in mind that im a completly industrial player the ships i fly have no mechanisms of any kind to deal with gate campers i do it the old fashioned way.
clearly when i made this thread i was venting but my reasoning is perfectly valid i spent 8 hours flying through empire collecting toilet paper only to have it lost in a manner of 2 seconds by a glitch in the game
" i hit a bubble in a empty system no one was in local, only to get ambushed by a cloaked ship with drones" under what circumstances would you call this perfectly reasonable? there is no wrong way to do it.
sure i could get a carrier roqal jump frieghter fly a shuttle fly with a scout or gang but then i wouldnt be a newbie or in a small corp would i then? i can tell you what high level players do in this game they pay lower levels to make money for them i know i "work" with one. on what scale is this fair and balanced, practical or even justifiably reasonable? where do i get my cut for time and effort cuz thats what industrial players do they devote much more time and effort as they are the ones filling three roles at once most of the time

I'm a newbie industrialist. I have almost no combat skills, and I'm constantly getting taken advantage of by more powerful, more experienced players. I don't whine about it on the forums. When my ore gets stolen, I write it off, chalk it up to experience, and change my play style to make it harder to steal my ore. When I get massacred by a gate camp, I write it off, chalk it up to experience, and change my play style so that hopefully in the future I won't get gate camped. You have to adjust to the game, you can't make it adjust to you, and crying and whining about it on the forums just makes you look pathetic. One of the golden rules of EVE is that if you lose big time, it's YOUR FAULT. There are many, many, many ways to protect yourself that don't involve having massive guns and armor. You have plenty of ways to limit the risk you expose yourself to, but whining on the forums about how the devs hate you personally because you lost your shiny indy is NOT one of them.

The OP has my sympathy. Most of his punctuation marks and and capital letters were on that hauler, and he exhausted what little he had left on this thread. It'll be years before he has enough for cruise control again.

Welcome to Eve.
Sorry your stuff got blown up.
The majority don't care, but thanks for sharing.
Posts like the op's are a sad reflection on the state of our world. Life is never fair. Eve just reflects that and many people find it distasteful. If this is the case please stop whining on the forums, it just gets the piwats all YARR'd up.
If you are a n00b I highly endorse Eve-Uni - good guys and they will show you how to avoid having that happen and what to do if it does.
Consequences... making noobs ***** on the forums since '03.

I'm an industrialist through and through, and was a fledgling industrialist before warp to 0 and carrier jumping of any kind.
What you are saying is pretty pathetic. The rules are set out for you. Eve is risk vs reward, and I've gotta tell you something, there is NEVER no risk.
So what should you do? Never carry all your eggs in one basket, and you won't get screwed like this. I lost all my isk to pirates before, but I learned from my mistake, rebuilt, and moved on. As you can see, the step of running to the forums and crying are not in there.
Anyway, constructive criticism is accepted and replied to nicely around here, but flames like this generally bring flames in replies (duh?). CCP runs this game, they can make the rules how they want, and they have made an amazing game so far. If you have problems, go to the ideas and suggestions forum and write up a constructive post about your issue.
Who knows though, maybe eve isn't for you.

0.0 isn't fair. It's a cut throat environment. The chance that it gets changed, because some people like you can't deal with it without adapting their playstyle, is rather low.
I've been living myself for some months at the end of the universe in 0.0, hostile space between us and empire and it was so far away that hauling wasn't really an option. So well, I depended on local markets, carrier trips of mates and the stuff that rolled in with organized freighter escorts. One freighter trip often took about 2 hours. But well, I didn't need to be there. It was my own choice.
So you want solo playstyle in 0.0 ? You can do that under certain circumstances, depending on where you are, who else is there, how your standings are, what you can fly, how much time and patience you have. But there are no guarantees. In the end noone forced you to spend 8 hours with getting stuff, put it in an industrial and jump into some hostiles with it alone. You knew the risk and it was your own choice.

EVE Facts:
1. While the Roqual's original purpose might not be to haul between 0.0 and Empire, i'm betting that it will be used extensively by players for that purpose. You know why? because they can, they can look at the lovely shiney stuff CCP proviides us and they can think of all the ways to use it, they are adapting to game conditions. 2. All major content expansions in MMO's (at least the successful ones) will allways pander to high end players, they are the ones who are right on the egde of the game, exploiting and using it in ways even the DEV's themselves have not thought about. 3. If you are a 'pure' industrial player as you say, thats no excuse, get some F*^%ing skills that will allow you to survive in Low Sec/0.0. Tanking skills are a good start, as are ECM skills. 4. You don't have to use a Industrial to transport stuff you know. A BS with a good tank can make an excellent hauler for low sec work. Me I use a Cruiser for trips into low sec to pick up low volume/high value stuff, and its stabbed, fitted for max armor and resists + some ECM. Its cheap and often does not tweak the interest of the scanning alts that infest the routes into Low Sec.
Hitting an empty bubble? did you think to check local? the cloaked player would show up in local...it sounds like you were the victim of a log-in trap, so what, thats a prefectly acceptable part of game mechanics. And ffs remember that EVE is not a single player game with MSN tacked on as an afterthought, its a game where the only way to survive, prosper and utilise all of its content is to do things in cooperation with other players. I've been killed several times in low sec, the last time losing a rather tasty faction fitted BS, whose insurance had run out stupid me!. Did I rant and run to the Forums to cry, no. I picked myself up and started again pretty much from scratch, though my corp mates did have a whip round and gave me 25 mil to help me.

Oh..and calling CCP names just because you lost is really imature. You're going to have to deal with worse problems than that as you grow up. -- (Battle hardened industrialist)
