We still miss a report on this issue....
It's becoming VERY annoying that CCP simply ignores this problem, almost to an extent of denying it's existance.
A few questions are raised.
1. Can we jump now without loss? 2. Will we get our implants back in clone, or as lose items...IE, if we lose current clone, do we then also lose any chance to get implants back?
Come on CCP. This is a problem YOU made, and only YOU can fix. So get to it !

Hi,
I would also like an official response from CCP .. take the points about it being a Sunday/the weekend/they're very busy ... but all the same, I might have hoped they would have some sort of coverage. The game's on 23/7 after all, I've always expected that they work shifts.
That aside ... they want info, so does everyone.
I (for one) have just successfully clone jumped.
I was in Auvergne in a clone with five plus 5 implants, & jumped to Grinacanne into a clone with five plus 4 implants & 5 hardwirings.
When I arrived, I immediately checked character sheet & found all implants still in place, both in the clone I'd just jumped into, & the clone I'd just left. Phew.
I then restarted training & found it was taking much longer than it ought to complete current skill.
I then checked my attributes - & found them all in the 18-19 range, despite my character sheet showing I was in plus 4s :(
However, after relogging I found my attributes were correctly showing as in the 22-23 range, & my training time to have reduced to reflect this.
So, jump cloning seems slightly buggy, but safe.
Unless I was just lucky (& Eyam never gets lucky).
Official response would still be nice, please.
Eyam.

hate to state the obvious, but patch day was WEDNESDAY, and it is perfectly legal to employ people on THURSDAY, FRIDAY and SATURDAY.
and i dont know about other people, but if i know i have tomorrow off work, i have a list of things that i need to sort before i go home today.
i guess a simple post from one of the GM's is alot to ask tho, i mean, it would be all of 5 minutes out of their day to appease alot of unhappy customers :( _________________________________________

Can those who have lost implants while jumping to a new clone confirm the following?
1) Did Your Initial Clone have implants Installed?
1a) Did you loose the implants from the Initial Clone?
2) Did your Target Clone have implants installed?
2a) Did you loose the implants from the Target Clone?
So far, from checking a few corpmante's experiences, and from reading the forums a bit, the following seems to be the pattern:
* if 1) is true, and 2) is also true, then 2a is the result (i.e. when jumping between two clones with implants installed, implants are lost from the target clone).
* Jumping from a clone with implants to a clone without implants appears to work.
* Jumping from a clone without implants to a clone with implants appears to work.

Fine, to be a bit more useful.
The clone I jumped FROM had: +3 (Basic) implants in slots 1-4 and a +4 (Standard) in slot 5. These are still there. The clone I jumped TO had: +4 (Standard) in slots 1-5. After jumping I was left with a +4 (Standard) in slot 2, the rest are now empty.

Hi,
When I clone jumped at 9:35 today, my implants were safe (see my earlier post). Others had said earlier in this thread that this is a fixed problem, or I wouldn't have risked it.
So, if you're posting to say you've lost your implants, please say when this occurred so people can know whether or not it's now safe.
Thanks.
Eyam.

same happend to me, target clone lost all +4 ones beside the memory one, slot2. I filed a petition like mentioned in this thread, but because i train a rank8 skill to 5 i needed new implants asap, and already got me 2 new ones (in target clone).
lets hope ccp doesnt simply "overwrite" the ones i buyed today.
i also hope they somehow keep track what had been installed in the clones, because the potential to abuse here is obvious.... hey, ccp, i just lost a full grade snake set, all of them... oh, and some hardwirings (me looks at wishlist)
uhuh....

Well I got tired of waiting for an official response.
I clone jumped from my clone that got jacked (only 1 hardwire remains) into my +4 clone and I didn't lose any more.
Btw thanks a LOT CCP for being so communicative and helpful on this issue. </sarcasm>

They can be tracked as all items can (well cept ammo as per change while back now).
It would also be possible via a dB query to identy exactly WHO was effected and WHAT they lost and when. Though would need warehoused copy of jumpclones prior to jumps (snapshot prior to patch would cover 99% of those effected apart from those that installed implants and then clone jumped twice - but generaly covers the lions share easily). Anyhow
Basicly CCP can not only prove you abused the petition system about saying you had snakes but would and should also slap you bugtime for such an abuse as it would effect legite cases and last time I looked scamming CCP/GM's was not allowed unless there docked in Jita and waving Tech 3 mining lasers (sic).
That said It support standards like ITIL all sadly work from a event basis and therefore go against any form of proactive problem solving. As such we live in a World were unless a probelm has been a issue its not treated with any real care and we have QA departments that realy for all effect test known/previous issues and by process alone get prevented from findinging there own probelms before they become events/issues.
You also get to keep root-cause anaylsts in work who's life is to document all the known fallout into a way that will impact the SLA the least. Basicly they are not troubleshooters but sudo lawyers with a good command of written language and contract law. There job is for all effect more damage limitation than being alowed to just tell the facts, which is painful who alot or anybody who cares about there work/profession.
Basicly IT got hijacked by accountants in the mid 90's to the extent that its all about accounting for what has happened and what you want to do more than actualy making it work. Engineers/techs put there finger in the air and know it will work and take X amount of time but accountancy forces it to take twice as much time due to all the burocratic hurdles. I once was able to get some hardware sorted in minutes by grabbing the head accountant and telling him that his PC owuld be dead come monday unless he brought this kit. Had it been 1000 users then he would of said fill in the forms and submit the request for the review commity.... You see the trend we live in. CCP is a company and as such are forced into this trend. Though less than most, which is worth a thought, but still; The bigger they are the more internal overheads generated from the likes of accounts/marketing and HR all empire building

"Implants are sometimes lost when doing a clone jump, the circumstances where this happens are still unknown but are being investigated. Any additional info on this is appreciated."

It's the word "sometimes" that still concerns me. We have anecdotal statements now that it's safe to clone jump. But the "sometimes" component concerns me still. Anyone else still concerned?

Now, after 3 days I am really just waiting for a GM to have the balls to tell me that "the logs show nothing".
I wonder how all this will work out but I am sourly aware that all I can do is shake my impotent fist holding my creditcard at the sky and probably achieve nothing.
Once you subscribe to this game there is zilch you can do if something goes badly wrong. The advice that I may quit in case I dont like it amounts to (ingame)suicide at best and thus is void.
