Well I finally got HDR + AA running smooth after a bit of work, so I bought the cheapest shiniest bucket of bolts thing on the market and tossed together a silly video to show it off. 90 seconds of pointless flying around, but hey it shows off the cloaking effect.
My system is an 8800GT & AMD 6000+ and I used the nHancer app to get the HDR + AA working together - several posts about how to get it going on these forums. Totally worth it, framerate is rock solid and it looks a ton better than the default HDR and no-AA, or AA w/ no-HDR.
Looks sweet IMO, mad props to CCP for their new engine and graphics :)

If you have a recent nVidia card (I have an 8800 GT, should work on other 8xxx series) then get the nHancer app (http://www.nhancer.com/). Turn on anti-aliasing and enable the "Oblivion HDR + AA" setting. Try a few until you get good performance and video quality - I can post my exact settings in a few hours, at work atm. ;)
For ATI I understand it's possible to do it directly in the Catalyst control panel but I'm not familiar with ATI cards so I can't help there.

well i cant find oblivion HDR+AA settings in the enhancer. its in the preconfigured list right?
and do i have to turn the HDR ingame off then?

You leave HDR turned on ingame. The Oblivion HDR+AA setting is on the far right tab in nHancer (Compatibility tab maybe? I don't have the app in front of me unfortunately). Just make sure you have selected the EVE Online profile in the left hand window first so you're editing that one and not some other game. :)

Ive tried to make this work for a while now, but with no luck. Any of you that made it work is running windows Vista?, I cant get it working and I cant figure out why.

Thx, that would be great. I will try and take some nHancer screenshots so maybe you can tell what Im doing wrong.

doesn't work for me. Running a gf8800 GTS on C2Duo with Windows XP. Tried with alot of variations but can't get AA working.. even without HDR 
any suggestions?

You need to set the AA settings to "Overide application settings".

It would seem it doesnt work for me when I try to only set AA for eve, if I change it in the global settings it does work (just AA, with the general compatibility mode). Turning on HDR in game breaks the AA though :P. HDR + compatibility mode on the oblivion thing results in working AA, but now I have those settings for all my programs :(. HDR + AA eats 50% of my fps :( (down to 110 from 200), just AA I get like 175 :o
