Let me get this right, some of you find the JF sigs with the women on them offensive??
Now if there was some act behind it or they conducted themselves in some way to offend then maybe I could understand but, a sig no bigger than a a few inch's wide causes offence.
Are we in such a conservative world that we have to worry about pictures of people with their hands bound and other remotly suggestive images?
You can see worse in UK's daily tabloid press than this and nobody bats an eye at it.
Take it with a pinch of salt and accept it as a little RP fun.

Why are you assuming that being submissive is offensive to all women? Many people of both sexes enjoy giving control to another as part of their erotic play. Many people would consider assuming all of any one gender think and feel the same way about anything as offensive.

I'm not talking for all women and I take your point. However if the number is 50%, 10% or 1% none are acceptable imo if what I was trying to say has any merit.
This is what I was trying to discuss.
I now see Miso's point of view and it's fair enough. I differ in opinion but I've said all I wanted to say.
Ok fair enough you have a right to be offended at whatever you feel.

Like I said, there is something somewhere that offends someone. I get offended by idiots. If they annoyed me that much, I wouldn't be able to read the forums. So I just ignore them. I think the word we're all looking for here is "tolerance"... but in Eve, thats a pretty tall order.

Where has the sig gone Miso? My wife was keen to let me practice my knot skills on her and I didn't get chance to copy the picture!

I am not sure I understand why some get offended by the sigs. Especially the women I mean between the washing and ironing how do they even find time to look?

Regardless of ones gender, or rather preferred method of erotic divertissement this type of acting has been going on for centuries, remembered most popularly in the Shakespearian era in which men played the roles of women for entertainment.
Signature graphics are art. A personal expression of ones desire to protray his or her character, and if done right, will reveal a great deal about the character behind the avatar.
On a side note, and completely off subject. I wouldn't mind seeing Lord Zap in the buff sometime. (Conrad or Talon either *wink*)

But as an adult can you not accept that you will find somethings that some won't agree with .We can't live in such a sterile enviroment that we have to consult all before taking any steps.

He wasn't very impressed by the fact that I described "it" as looking like "a pork scratching".

Methinks this thing about the signatures being discriminating is weird. Smacks of everyday feminism to me, which - in the end - works just like the conservatism of male chauvinists for making women feel guilty about their bodies.
I mean god damn, are women supposed to dress upp like eskimoes just to avoid alleged sexism? In my experience feminists that whine about theese things are more fixated with sex and it's implications than those that enjoy living out this kind of roleplaying.

Did anyone ever consider that the reason the Jericho Fraction pinheads put together suggestive signature graphics (And obviously take a long time to do them), is the same reason why Jade Constantine has made a name for herself as a disused english blabbering pinhead that has an opinion on everything?
Here's a word for you: PUBLICITY.
If you really don't like the sigs, or Jade for that matter, ignore them, and her. Because to people like that, having no attention directed at them is the worst punishment on the planet.

Miso, you really are a pinhead. I've never been banned from the forums, or the game.
I quit a few months ago because the game had serious playability issues and wasn't worth my time or money.
It is again. FYI, I've been back for quite awhile.
I simply find the subject of your signature graphics to be fairly amusing, as they advertise your immaturity, along with the rest of your antics.
Be happy though, keep it up and you might make my Pinhead of the Day line on my blog.

Heh, "pinhead" has nothing to do with hellraiser. (Outside of the character name of course)
Its a term coined by Bill O'Reilly (On Fox), which I find rather amusing in the context of which it is used, so it found a nice home in my vocabulary.

jeez yoseph - lighten up fella! this is game and most people play it for fun and have a laugh. those that take it too seriously really should stop, take a step back and look at it again - hopefully they'll realise this and say to themselves 'jeez - it's just a game!'
most people cant play eve all day coz they have jobs to go to. the forums are just a way to keep in touch. why not lighten things up while we do that?
