Ever since that 15-20 minute wallet updating came into effect, it somehow got a little more annoying wondering when the 20 minutes is over. (Among other strong thoughts and feelings about it.)
So my suggestion/idea for this is solely for mission running people:
Whenever we start a mission, we go in, kill everything, complete it, then go back to station to turn in the mission. Then the agent will give us the time bonus along with the mission rewards AND the total bounty made on that mission.
It makes sense for the agent to keep track of how many rats we killed and pay us accordingly. That way it feels more realistic in the end and also have even less load on the server since some missions takes 30 minutes to 5 hours.
Other than that, the 15-20 minutes wallet updating still applies outside of mission running.
The point of this thread is not a whine on how annoying it "could be" but to add a more realistic tone that players can handle better on a more clear conceptual level.

You only have to wonder for the first 20 minutes. After that, open your wallet, check the time of the last bounty, add 20 minutes, then wait for 20 minutes. Even for that first 20 minutes, have you ever thought of looking at a clock whenever you first fire your missiles/blow up the first ship?

Although the idea of the agent paying the bounty is actually a pretty good one, I can't help but wonder why this is such a big issue for some, 15-20 minutes is really not that long, do you really need to know from second to second what you wallet balance is?

Let me put it into perspective: Imagine you're at a piano concert and the pianist is playing solo. Suddenly the pianist hits the wrong key and it just throws off slightly the whole feeling of the piano music, although it didn't quite ruin it completely. Now, imagine the pianist does this more than once, it gets old.
Same concept as the 15-20 minute bounty payment. But if the agents starts paying US the bounties, then it feels like a better flow upon this game.

? I really have a hard time seeing how the 15-20 minute payout compares to a badly played piano solo , but like I said I do think the agent paying the bounties sound like a good idea.

For some people, they wont notice the bad notes. But for others, they will notice the bad notes and be bothered by it and want the pianist to improve and correct those notes so it sits well on the audience's ears.
For some, they wont notice the 15-20 minute bounty update. But for others, they will notice how it throws off the flow of the game and want changes in regard to that to make it more easy on the game playing mind (i.e. agent paying our bounties).

You seriously get bothered that your money comes with a delay, instead of at the second you blow someone up?

Does'nt really seem to make that much of an difference. TBH the only annoying thing with this 20min bounty payment deal is the random people coming into help channel complaining about not getting any bounty for their BS rat kills just because they were ratting 20 mins within server shutdown. |

When you finish a mission, it could flush the bounties.
Just simple at that.
I would like to point to this concept : Agent asks you to do something and pays you a reward and a bonus if you are fast. By luck, usually, CONCORD offers rewards for people shooting such rats. It is not really linked together.
But as for being a game logic, bounties could be flushed to your wallet when any mission is done. -- Pocket drone carriers (tm) enthousiast !

Ok, from an RP perspective this is indeed a bit weird... That said, Bounty payout on the end of a mission sounds good to me, nice addition, and i highly doubt it will take that much coding... _______

I actually like it this way Looking at my journal log after ive finished the mission and seeing a few logs but with a big amount of isk. Seems better than like 100 logs of small amounts.
Also this effects any other rats you kill, so if your not doing a mission who is it gonna pay you? Unless they decide to code two different ways.
This doesnt or has happen to me, but what if you kill every rat...a thief comes and gets ur mission objective and you cant complete it? total waste of time. Ive heard this be4 alot so i figured i mentioned it.

i only have 1 issue with the current system, i ratted for about an hour the other night, my wallet flashed once and i received 6 mil isk, thought to myself, well i know i made more than that, seeing as how my last kill was a trip 1.8mil bs spawn and had chained that one a few times. so i went home, logged out expecting my cash to be there when i logged back in, but it wasnt. thats what i dont like.

the money delay is more realistic, but it certainly puts some more frustration in the game play. especially if you're used to moving isk and products around and don't have time to wait 20m for an update.

I also agree bounties should be auto-paid at the end of a mission. Those that rat though can get the 20-minute limit.

What if you don't finish a mission before DT, and the rats respawn... do you get the total of all the rats when the mission is done?
