Well presumably they just dropped standings with BoB? Yes, they may be telling porkies about that, or they may have already "re-arranged" standings with them on a "case by case basis" but assuming that they're not and they haven't then...surely that's a start back down the path of non-affiliation that Mercs usually are known for?

Mercs are typically self-interested and independent when push comes to shove, so it makes sense (at least to me). They'll only keep friends so long as it serves their own best interests. I think of Mercs like I think of Caldari...

I'd say results are everything, personally. Results are what defines an image to the greatest extent. You can market yourselves and spit out propaganda but without the results to back it up it's all pretty worthless. I'd hazard a guess and say this is a case of protecting the capability to deliver results, not just marketing fluff. Could be wrong of course. We'll see...

Just because I wouldnt employ your alliance, doesnt mean to say that I cant express an opinion on the real reasons for this reset. look around these are open discussion forums, Seleene posted the thread on it, and therefore I have the opportunity to give my opinion on it.
If you guys didnt want to have this discussed why post it on a discussion forum? an Eve-mail to the relevant CEO's/Alliance leaders would have got the message out just as well.
This whole post looks remarkably like a damage limitation excercise by MC, and some will undoubtably be taken in by it. Others will see it in a different light, I am one of them
