its got a bit better but thats just bcs less ppl arround bcs of the holydays. I am still getting random disconnects, in random timeframes, every minute every 10 mins or whatever.
The strange thing is that I am not getting disconnected when a lot of network traffic occures (big gangs, fights etc).
So can some1 explain how and where do I fill a ticket and most important what the hell should I write in there? If I just make the phonecall and try to explain to the clueless person on the other side whats happening and he starts asking me to restart the damn router or my computer I am gona get ****ed.

Originally by: Mithrantir Ob'lontra As the title says there is an issue with people within Greece, facing too many disconnects. The issue has started after Trinity upgrade, and i am not sure it's a problem that lies within the network. The traceroute to the server shows a very healthy RTTD. Which means as far as i can tell that this is not a problem of the network.
Some people have found out that this disconnects or desyncs happen when one is sitting idle for a short amount of time. That is when the ship is not moving. Playing with the market or anything else doesn't really help the situation.
I haven't been able to pinpoint the exact cause of the problem yet. Yesterday i got desynced and disconnected multiple times while i was trying to travel from one region to another. I tried also yesterday to initiate the log server to see what error messages i get, but alas i didn't get any message at all that would indicate a problem from the client. After some time though things run smoothly (i logged off after i manage to finish my trip to the destination).
I would greatly appreciate if a Dev could look into it and maybe even contact me. Funny thing is that i am a network engineer for an ISP in Greece and the customer support received lately many phone calls from customers regarding this problem. Thanks in advance.
Sounds like a node problem. ---------------------------------

+1 on the D/C issues, although my info from friends playing tabula rasa is that it is a specific not-so-popular ISP company's fault and it has to do with a "inter-country" connection with londong or something. This could be verified by ppl from different ISP'S.
In addition the game's lineage 2 "teon" server which is located in germany doesnt suffer from the same problem.
Description: i log-in and get disconnected REPEATEDLY for 10+ times after 3-5 seconds. If i dont i may play for 1-3 or more hours non-stop straight, or disconnect again after some time 15-30 minutes.

Well after being away for some time (and also facing some family issues sadly), i have heard from my colleagues that the problem has been resolved.
Can someone from Greece confirm or deny this?
Due to real life issues i don't have the time to log in and test it myself

Well maybe if they fixed it yesterday or today..... There was a major downtime the other day that might've had something to do with it.... But anyway, I haven't been jumping between systems the last couple of days and that's mainly where I get the delays.

I am not talking about delays. This is something that has little to do with the network. I am concerned about the disconnections.

I wonder is the problem is a Trojan on CCP's server?
CONCORD provide consequences, not safety; only you can do that. |

Ah well the problem with being disconnected while idle in station disappeared a while ago for me. But I used to have massive delays after jumping through gates... The ping was fine and all but every time I tried to dock/undock or jump a gate I had a 20-30s delay. Did 2J today without lag.. Will try some more if ppl could stop camping my station :P

The problem has been identified as a bottleneck at one of the upstream providers of OTEglobe. The resolve was to ask for a reroute of the traffic via other routes.

Hi there!
Have we found a solution to this problem? I'm at Chania Greece and the only ISP that can serve me is OTE, that means OTEnet.
I'm still facing the disconnect problems! Is anyone else that still have disconnects?
Can anyone tell me what to do so I can bypass the problem?
I think to do VPN to a friend of mine at Athens and to route my traffic from his ISP. I'll see what will happen with that and I'll keep you informed!
And mates today i had a problem with my phone line... The phone was off! So I went to the nearest OTE bulding and tell them that I have a problem so they start a ticket! and they told me to call so I can tell them the problem! So i tell the tech sup person that the prob is that I don't have a phone! and he tells me ok call from you cell phone at xxxxx is the customer service xxx but from cell phone!
So how can I trust those people that will take care of my problem?
pls if you have any news about the disconnects post something!
thx in advance!

also I'd like to write about a few tests i run! the winMTR and the Pingploter show everything ok! until the time I press the connect button! then i stay loged for a period of 10 minutes and the programms start to tell me "dock mate!!!! Run to the nearest station!" and then goes the disconnect!
A friend of mine tells me to buy another prepaid packet from an other ISP! Is this a solution??? hey there ccp! You are the one that takes my money and I demand to have a little QoS! can you come in touch with the ISPs? Find a solution? Maybe!!!?
