I pay to be able to play for what it says when you sub 30 days of time and i'd find it quite disturbing if CCP didn't give us all this downtime back. All other mmorpgs are able to put these tiny patches on their servers and have them up within the hour of downtime so why can't EVE? What i also hate is how you have to go to Jita alot of the time as yet if you enter Jita then you wont be able to play again that night lol. I can't believe Jita hasn't been fixed and i don't see how hard it is to not have a center of the galaxy, why not just delete Jita lol...........
It's like whenever i want to play this game it seems to always be on downtime and then frigging they're like server will be up at this time.... actually no we changed our minds it'll be a hour later..... actually it'll be a hour later etc etc.
I'm sick and tired of the unstable overpopulated server and theres soooo much lag all the time. I don't understand why you can't just open 3 or 4 servers because i'd much prefer it's not like you talk to all 40k people that are playing each night anyways.

Yes you do get a refund on the lost time due to the downtime.
However, the patch costs the same amount. |

we get it back in the fact that our expantions are FREE, and besides downtime doesnt really affect me since its happening when im either sleeping or just as im waking up and getting ready for work
Oh and btw you dont have to go to Jita, ive been playing for about 6 months or so now and have never been to Jita and most likely never will go to Jita

EVE's cluster is much much much larger then all other mmorpg's
it runs a single cluster on 100's of machines. This is why patch deployments take longer as the game it unique to any other mmorpg.
You cannot compare other games to EVE for patches generally because the cluster is just so large

I think.... you're an e-tard who hasn o idea what he's talking about. All the other MMORPGs are -not- able to do that, every single one has extra down time. EVE generally has a single hour long down time every day (which in my opinion is the best way to do it) as opposed to others who do it for an exasperating long period of time on one day.

I've been playing this game since May 2003, and I have NEVER EVER been in Jita. NEVER.

Wow, you must have an nberconnection cause i got a 100/10 Mbit connection running with an X2 6000+, 4gb ram and x1950pro and even i experience some heavy lag form time to time... So, you got like an 2tb connection running on a IBM Bluegene with like 64gb ram and quad nvidia 8800 cards?
Oh, yeah, now i know, you just don't know what you are talking about even though you've played since 2003... But maybe that's because your hiding faaaaar out in a 0.0 system where your all alone. And no, i'm not talking about Jita!
