I just disinstalled the game, When I login to an eve client on a different pc will I stil have my character or is all my hard work lost?

Your bookmarks may look messed up if you aranged them into folders, as the folders are stored client side.
But for standard day to day, all your characters are accessable anyware.

Your character is stored on the server , As the server now knows you deinstalled the client when you next reinstall and log in you will find you have been moved to JITA unless you are already their in which case you could find yourself in the middle of a lag fest fleet fight ,

Your character is stored server-side, however uninstalling the game cut off the water supply to the tech 2 hamsters and you have cost hundreds of players to lose approximately three months of skill training. Without the templars, Amarr fighters used by carriers, the honour tank didn't hold and the database was rolled back for some. Your stuff was contracted to me, and some of it was pink. |

All characters are stored on a thumb drive held by CPP kieron for "safe keeping." The thumb drive is removed from the servers for back up nightly, where it is placed on an alter and all CCP employees dance around naked while praying to Saint Florentine, the patron saint of computers.
Be sure to delete your C:\boot.ini file after installing.

When you are not online CCP stores your characters on this server like this:
This way, they don't rot and are fresh and ready to use when you connect again.
So be kind to your characters, logon as often as possible so they don't have to stay in the phantom zone for too long.

What I think is really sad isn't that the forum is riddled with memes, but rather that in a situation like this which gives rise to the opportunity for a new meme, most people instead of posting something which attempts to be witty and original, combine various parts of other memes in an attempt to be witty and original without any wit and using unoriginal source material.

I have removed my character from this server farm and keep him in a box under my bed now, when I need him I just stuff him in the dvd drive.

Uninstalling your client will only result in the loss of your client settings auch as overview filters, graphics settings, message display settings and chat channels joined. Your character will continue to exist on the server and will continue training whatever skill is being trained when you last logged off until it is complete, at which point no skill will be in training.
Unless you fly a carrier or have recently been blown up by one, Templar-class fighters are not involved in this process at all. The process also does not involve soda-streams, cats, Rick Astley, badly localised Asian video games, chocolate rain, Pirates, Ninjas, "chargin lazors", dancing hamsters or leva's polka, exploding whales, flying spaghetti monsters, helicopter sharks, Leeroy Jenkins, The Juggernaut or any one a multitude of internet memes of varying quality and/or age. Yes, they are stored in London. Im not sure if you have to pick up a cheap Ryan-Air ticked to go and pick them up if you reinstall tough.

My characters head is far to big be to stored on the london servers. He had to be transfered to a japanese supercomputer about 8 months ago, but as many have said, he still is protected from anything happening on my home pc

Your shuttles are tanked server wide. deinstalling the templar however will result in exploding wales, used by the Amarr honour tanks.
There's little a sledgehammer can't fix.
If you can't fix it, you need a bigger sledgehammer.
If it's unfixable, blame CCP. :p
