I don't know that any players would have access to one, but yeah, that seems to be a legit pic.
I miss the radar at the bottom right...that is what the overview should have been built with...screw this Primary List of Doom we have now.

Still remember they put in the button for auto pilot and made a lot of peeps happy. But guess that was in beta or very early since my oldest screenshot from 17-08-2003 has that button and a search button. |

Looks legit to me as well. And the turret icons are legit as well, turrets existed around stations just not at gates. And he's definitely at a station, not a stargate.
Never got to see or play with one myself either, but the titan concept goes wayyyyyy back before RMR.

if I remember right here..
the autopilote came first, then they added the scan icon, or was it just moved around...

titans have been ingame since pre castor... but unattainable. the only way to get a titan was pretty much to beg kinda like the jovian ships. Much less the skills to pilot them. If that is indeed from beta then it is one hell of a rarity since they didnt even release battleships until castor iirc. But not impossible. It all looks about right.

I don't remember titans being in the 2003 beta, then again I was only in the beta a week, anyone else remember when CCP made everything on the market cost 1 isk? my beta char name was "aadMarine"

It wasn't. It was a smaller, primitive version of the current tactical view. Most people ignored it and few of us miss it.

The blue scanner didn't let you target anything, but it at least let you see where things were in relation to your ship. As you rotated you camera view it rotated with you.
You could zoom in/out the range it was scanning. IIRC the max range was 200km, minimum 20.
And man, it was a great day when the autopilot button was added. A glorious day.

Im not a beta person but i remember reading at one time on the forums that there was a client bug at one time where you could make it look like you had a titan but everyone else saw a titan, and ccp was a little more forgiving about client hacks back then so it was tolerated

Back when eve was in beta there were originaly only 5 ship classes.
Frigs
Crusers
Battleships
Indys
and Titians.
We even got to blow 1 or 2 up in beta events. They were quite the site back then. Well seeing a cruser was quite the site back then also. Let alone a BS. Oh and the Jita pop. Thats cuz back then Jita wasnt in Jita. It was in Yulai. It got lagged all to hell so they changed up the gates routing traffic away from it to aleviate lagg. Thats when jita poped up and it happened all over agian. So i think they said the hell with it realizing that doing the same to jita would just end up moving the hub to somewhere else so they left it alone. Those were some crazy days though i kinda miss it. Buggy as hell and sparce Pop but still very new and exciting.
