Man, now that we're getting near the Endgame it seems to be only Goons that are going in there for the 'killer blow'. Huge Windyprops. So tell me, what are the Goon highlights of the war in recent days?
We're pretty chill with our RSF brosefs. IAC are cool people too for letting us crash on their lawn. We're just sippin' mojitos and shooting POS.
Highlights? Well it was pretty lawl when BoB decided to unanchor a bunch of towers and we stole some faction larges. TCF ruined a pretty chill POS shot by cynoing in a crazy amount of dreads and one shotting the POS. Watching BoB bridge everywhere to avoid epic fights is always great. Oh, the evemail spam from RKK moving all their BPOs out of conquerable space was nice. Lastly, BoB taking down all their cap ship production and moon mining in a SOV4 system to reinforce their other systems had us excited to shoot more POS.

Hey there, I read the thread and to be honest its more then a little bit off.
Lets keep the analysis simple -
Northern & Bruce - FIX stations have fallen and so has most of Fountain. They win some and lose some but almost all the SOV has been lost by BOB friendly Alliances. Northern & Bruce need to work on multi fleet coordination. Unless BOB starts killing a dozen plus capitals a week for the next few months I dont see SOV flipping back to BOB. (FYI: BS fleets are cheap)
RSF & Delve - Dozens of Large, Medium and Small towers destroyed or stolen in the last few days. Lots of BOB Towers coming out of reinforced at the same time across multiple regions. RSF dominates all but EURO primetime on weekdays. SOV will be changing across a great many Delve systems shortly. Do all the stations need to fall any time soon not really. What will happen is that BOB losses most of their Mining operations in the short term and acess to their space during their non prime time.
MC & Friends - The key here is that BOB needs to make some hard choices given that they will be having a number of key POS needing a defense at the same time in 2 or more Regions. Unless MC, Evoke and KIA start losing their gank ships in droves I dont see why this war would end anytime soon. 1 Vagabond with Rigs = a lot of Fleet fit BS.
So what will happen to BOB, they lose control of Delve for those hours outside their EURO prime time when its currently a toss up over who has the advantage.

I have a question about the reputation BoB has as a "PvP" alliance. I admit I haven't been around as long as a lot of the people here, but in the year or so that I've been involved with fighting BoB, my experience has been that unless they have an enormous number advantage, they really aren't that interested. With the exceptions of a few roaming inty gangs, and those times when they still had allies, they just don't really fight anymore, they load up all their caps on a grid, and wait for the enemy to come to them, then they fire up a DD or two, and thats it.
Where is the fun in that? Where is the pvp? Even the allies that they backstabbed had more spirit, I remember Corm, SoCo, Mpire, hell, even RISE would put out some 50 man fleets, BS heavy, and go looking for a fight.
Now, they do exactly what they accuse the coalition of doing, blobbing, sitting in station, and coming to CAOD to say they are doing exactly the opposite. I see people whose ships have never been in my overview talking about how many goon kills they get, and if they haven't killed me yet, I'm surprised they've killed anyone...I mean, I'm an inexperienced pilot with low sp and a weak ship.
Come on GBC, if you really do have any honour or self respect left, quit with the yak yak, and start with the pew pew...undock some of those ships and stop running away from fights.

If you've got so much 'honour or self respect' why is your alliance stooping to making lame, clumsy forgeries like this?
If you're curious about BoB's PVP credentials ask yourself a simple question. How come you need 80% of Eve's alliances to have still failed to kill BoB?

I never said goons had any honour or self respect, I thought BoB & co. had the market cornered on that. The link you posted was hilarious, thanks for that, don't tell me you didn't get a little chuckle out of it.
As for the 80% question, we don't need 80% of Eve's alliances to kill BoB, thats just how many want to be involved.

This isnt the GBCs Alamo because I doubt they will surrender, line up against a wall and wet themselves before being shot.
If you want to abuse a moment of history to describe this situation try RorkeÆs Drift (again forget the ôhistorical archiveö known as Hollywood), were a few highly trained and better equipped professionals butchered a numerically superior but inferior army.

Unfortunatly the ZULU's did not have clones so any historical analogies are a waste of time, especialy when fighting goons who ignore K/D ratio's and ship losses as long as they gain an inch of space.

My grandmother also knows how to suck an egg.
Obviously on a pvp server were your opponent is immortal your not trying to kill them but destroy their will to fight. I could document in detail how to destroy the GBCs assets and make them realise it was a pointless fight but the muppet and his mob have annoyed me with their lack of class in the four months Ive been visiting. So Id rather laugh at each battle report that isnt even in Delve which shows them being butchered.
Id like to mention that space or territory is irrelevant if the opposing army is still intact. How many northern alliances retreated in front of MC only to reclaim their own space after they left.

I think EVE needs to improve their cooperation in order to take down BoB, the "problem" now seems to be that you can't have unlimited number of ships in a system, so the defensive force might have an upper hand. It's also questionable how big motivation GSF+naps have to crush BoB.
It is cool to see them defend Delve so good. But if I hope Delve fall or not is my personal opinion, and I don't want to express my thoughts on CAOD :P
