A great idea to combat them. They are so scared they are all crying and talking smack. The more smack they talk only means the more scared they are of others doing it and their easy life and griefing will be alot harder. What else makes me laugh is that they try to make it sound unfair or weak. However, what is gatecamping and popping noobs or easy weaker targets? I could say the same about them. However, it's more fun laughing at you pirates when you cry!!!!

Typically this comes from wrecks left behind with items that pirates are not interested in. many of these are T2 items worth more than 1 million isk. For a new player this is easy money. I highly recommend new players learn this tactic asap. The combat experience alone is worth it. Seeing how fast I can be locked and warp scrambled is a lesson better learned in a starter ship than a t2 BS. If you are having trouble try using shuttles, they give you a much better chance at getting away but you'll only be able to pick up 1 or 2 items at most. They are ideal for zipping in after something has been blown up and trying to snatch that 50 million isk nano plating! Try and warp to wrecks close to the gate as well, once you grab something you'll want to jump right away if there are enemies around.

That also works, but.. snatching the loot in front of their eyes is the fun factor, I normally shout with what I stole in local, and the responses I get out of it are priceless Shuttles are only good for snatching implants and the such @Dr Slice: Now I think CCP should add the Jawas as a new race, I'll gladly toss this character in exchange for a Jawa char.

Using shuttles is not as helpful as I'd hoped. The limited Cargo space is a curse when you find something good you want to take, like a tech 2 cloaking system, worth approx 8 million... Stick with starter ships. Even if the shuttles can get you in system and warp away fast enough, without space to hold stuff it's not an advantage. Also wait for combat, best time to run in is during a fight, if you're lucky you'll find a wreck right next to the gate, open cargo, select all, drag onto your cargo window (which you've already opened right!?) then jump.
