About 1 hour prior, we had spotted an Invictus gang lurking around, and had rallied a defense fleet of about 30-40 people to go after them. We had been skirmishing with them for about 2 days by then, so the call to arms wasn't all that unexpected. After we rallied our gang, we lost track of the Invictus gang and received intel that Ka-Tet invasion fleet was coming, and was 10-20 jumps away. So we shifter our position, put out the call that "WE'RE GETTING INVADED GET READY!!" to which we gained another 20-30 people, and went to camp the 1E0 system. So the reason why DMC was so surprisingly ready is that we were already operating in the area, for an unrelated threat, and you all (Ka-Tet) happened to choose just a very bad timing. As for RA's backstabbing, when we first teamed up with them, I had great respect for RSF, now, I can't say I see much difference between them and BoB, but I guess there was never any to begin with.

What i see is a alliance that is very industrial strong (two titan's just built). This to me is a chance for any other alliance to become friends or maybe merge with DMC. Maybe a pvp strong alliance up north could use a super capital producing alliance. There isnt that many alliances in EVE that can say we just had two titans come out of the oven on top of many motherships. Some industrials must be feared

Red Alliance got 4 motherships to protect DMC then reneged on that too after ka-tet paid em 30 bill to let em attack DMC. Its pretty simple really. But like the post before you they are too buisy making flipant posts to care either way.

Something I forgot to mention in my prior response was that some reasonable intel from inside Smashkill suggests that you all are ready in the next weeks to be coming 7-Ks direction regardless of any action taken.
