It was extortion scam. Stop kidding yourself No this is exactly the way I wrote, and its very simple and very obvious. It may look anyway you want, but for RSF powerblock and even for GBC, RA doing what they just must to do. There is just no other way for them. Its so easy, why ppl dont get it.

Naturally, I don't speak for my corporation or alliance, and all that face-saving jazz. Pertaining to the forums. Every post has either been: a) The rare RA post, generally lacking smack. Kudos to RA for keeping the politics in-game where they belong. b) XIX trying to sidestep their scam. Who cares? EVE is full of scams; just admit it, and move on. There's a reason Slashdot ran an article entitled "Yet Another Scam in EVE Online." c) DMC frantically trying to fix our diplomatic debacle. You can't really blame us for that, the war really isn't in our best interest. And yes, things were said that shouldn't have been said. Plus: The whole Titan deal was blown completely out of proportion. The common response has been, "DMC tried to sell Titans to enemies of RA." I thought they were for us to use, against BoB. Go figure. d) Alt posts saying "haha dmc is teh suxxor you desrved ti carebarz!!1!one." If everyone in the forums posted with their mains, a lot more would be accomplished, because people wouldn't say nearly so much stupid crap. e) Goonswarm. Why, again, does this whole affair matter to you? If the forum servers responded to the sheer number of your posts the same way as Tranquility responds to fleet battles, there's no doubt in my mind that there would be permanent node death. Your self-proclaimed primary purpose is to "rid the universe of BoB." Keep doing that. It would make the forums a lot easier to read, and probably double the efficiency of your campaign. The conclusion? Let's just pew pew already, and only post on this thread if there is a relevant piece of news to deliver. Now, on the in-game war: Let's end it, so I can get back to Fountain. Or, we can keep it going, so I can fight at home. Sure, it doesn't look very good for DMC. But we will fight. To the very last outpost, to the very last POS, to the very last ship. The fights RA offers are good ones, so it's a win-win, even if we do "lose." In closing, I'm quite proud to be a member of DMC right now. And if we do fall, based on the chain of events that has unfolded, we will have the notoriety of being the alliance that completely destabilized the East. Posted - 2008.01.14 10:47:00 - [497] I understand the situation to be as follows: Smash & Roadkill are blue to both DMC and Ka-Tet and are therefore not getting involved in the pew pew. They are also blue to Atlas and Chaos Incarnate. However with the move from Red Alliance and some of their allies they stated that they would only get involed should Chaos or Atlas home space come under threat. Red alliance made a move against 9IZ-HU, Chaos Incarnate home system, and thus Smashkill would come to our aid. Diplomatic talks took place after a forum based drama bomb and RA & Co. pulled out of 9IZ and the cold war is set to continue. Disclaimer: I've not really been in-game recently so some of my facts may be off, I'm reporting what i have been told over voice comms and from our forums. My views to not reflect that of my corporation or alliance

They will put this issues a side, and wait for other things to develop, mostly BOB war. They will wait for the North and others to continue attacking BOB and bleed and make sure they build bigger capital and supercapital fleets. When the time is right, they will get back to this and they will be ready for anyone that tries to help them. So yeah, go kill BOB because honestly, only BOB has the chance to ever stop them from taking over.

Have Atlas/CI abandoned DMC? based on what i've understood from this thread and elsewhere is that RA will respect chaos and atlas sovereignty and that all if any combat will be over dmc space, and it also appears that ra won't be contesting dmc space atm. smashkill etc is blue to all involved for the forseeable future.
