How the hell can you explain your actions and how can you convince someone to fight along side you. Exploiting your own allie after being very well compincated. Attacking members of the Northern coaliton who are supposed to be aiding in the attack on BoB. RA has shown its cards and is now in a diplomatic cluster fck. The big issue here is what are the members of the Northern Coalition going to do. Why aid the South if they are just gonna come after you next? How is bob going to die by RA and company attacking the Drone regions? How is RA any better than Bob? thats the big question. This is a PR nightmare for RA but i dont think they care. So nice isnt it - we cut of this plan so pure Ka TET failed and RA taking care DMC gets scared! Seems to me that Ka-Tet really had no choice. Obviously they were stuck between a rock and a hard place. RA who are very close to Ka-Tet make an offer. Ka-Tet either takes the offer and actually has to pay to attack another alliance that is near by. Or angers RA and says no leading to almost guaranteed destruction. Assuming that blue alliance attacking another blue alliance would be a pretty safe bet of a 1v1 fight.. (assuming other blue Alliances won't get involved) has a decent enough chance of growth and survival. Seems like a hard choice to me. Of course Ka-tet aren't planning on coming in contact with 3 Alliances all waiting and ready to go. They turn around to replan, get completely over run and are sitting like idiots with an Epic Fail taking place and a Dead Mothership. choices as I see it: 1: Say no to RA and die cause they see them as weak and nobody in thier right mind in the drone region is gonna gang up to help "kill RA" 2: Say Yes to RA. Pay Billions of isk for their "Help". And have a decent enough chance of expansion and survival even though they have to go against what they normally do and attack blues. I feel sorry for Ka-tet. They seem to be the unwilling pawns of this little war..

TFC isn't, Goonfleet isn't, KOS, Blackout, UNL, and on and on aren't interested in the drone regions but no one is going to tell RA how to police their space or treat their tenants. If the drone region alliances would just fall in line and stop thinking they could get away with not paying their bills while everyone else is occupied elsewhere, everyone would be happy.

What folks conveniently forget is that DMC unilaterally reneged on the agreement by siding with enemies of RA. Given the hysterics of DMC leaders in the posted chatlogs, I rather doubt they have the diplomatic acumen to have consulted with RA before making such an obviously provocative move.

Ask DMC to make them leave. And then protect DMC as was agreed previously. No... Instead RA attacks DMC for teaming up with friends who have been red with Ka-Tet before and also red with RA. Does that even matter? I mean noone attacked RA in this incident right? So RA is responding to something that never hurt a single one of their alliance. That doesn't sound very.. "clean"... So something is clearly "fishy" about this, since Ka-Tet knew that DMC were under RA's protection. If they thought that RA would in fact protect them they would never have attacked... Wonder if we can ever trust RA again. Attacking pet's, who paid very well for themselves I might add, isn't gonna buy anyones trust. ----------------------------------------------

Basically Goons and the like have nothing to fear from RA and vice versa because they both provide something the other needs. DMC are simply too small to ally themselves with Alliances red to RA and get away with it. This is doubly true after negotiations over the Titan sales going sour. Other small alliances in the region who are basically pets or as good as (Ethereal Dawn and IRC) are in a tough position i imagine. They probably realize that they can expect the same treatment further down the line but what are their options? They cannot ally themselves with the whole smashkill/CI bandwagon and cannot even make the approach or they will be red to Goons and RA so fast they won't know what hit them. Methinks we are looking at the drone regions being reduced to maybe 3 or 4 strong alliances within a few months if not before.
