I was quite ****ed off when for a mission I go to a low security zone and felt like looking around as it was quite interesting graphics. I got jumped by someone who finds griefkilling a past time as I tried to warp but he had a device that trapped me.. I was dead then pod killed... all my work destroyed.... I will not play this game again.. and will encourage others not to.. as I hate grief killers. If EVE wishes me to mayhap think about returning do something simple... MAKE PVP A TOGGABLE OPTION... I was not looking for a fight and I'd have never picked a fight at all with another player... he for his own amusement Destroyed 2 weeks of playing and working..... and all desire to ever play again. That just lost CCP 120-160 dollars a year...because I will not play anymore. Also note perhaps what WOW has done people who like griefing go and play on PVP servers the others who don't like PVP all the time go elsewhere.

If you could fight without losing or killing the other person so they wont bother you for a time, then whats the point in fighting? Im a miner too and I understand that. Also note, most players here dont speak kindly about WoW.

That EVE is a hardcore game, where people fight each other all the time and even the high sec isn't completely safe. Tutorials should include basic PvP survival courses, which should cover such topics as: What is NBSI and why people do it in low sec. How to use local as scout tool How to use directional scanner as scout tool The mechanics of warp scramblers and their counters: EW, stabs, cloaks Armed with that basic knowledge, new players like Brent would be less likely to have wrong impressions.
