I don't know if you were referring to me, but I hope that when I'm 50 years old I still have the ability to act like a 13 year old on a playground. Maturity is not a change in the way you act, maturity is the ability to know when to act certain ways. Couple that with the knowledge that BoB doesn't care what the eve population thinks of it and you will see me sitting on the fence. COAD is a different animal now, spammed to death by people from a place where posting on a forum is their basis for life. Coming here is no longer walking out the front door, it's taking a trip to Botswana. Thinking you can go there and communicate the the natives and their drumbeats is rediculous. Tortuga slipped the BOB leash for the express announced purpose of being "truly independent" and going back to the merc roots. Partly that is contradicted and betrayed by the realities of being a land-holding 0.0 power that require NAPs and arrangements and home defense and blob wars and all that other jazz you probably don't like. But then this latest thing with the mutual+ with the Swarm and all their friends and come on! You aren't blind Eddz, one doesn't become "truly independent" mercenaries by signing up for one side or other of the "great war" for no pay and the simple hope you might progress your landholding aspirations against former paymasters. It doesn't wash, its not credible, it doesn't convince anyone really. So you must expect a certain degree of robust political commentary. And thats the issue really. Sub SA-smacktalk and idiot memes are one thing, yes I agree, CAOD (and indeed Eve) could do with much less of this tripe. But you can't confuse that with the quite sensible criticism and analysis of your current political moves by those involved or interested in the course of events. Maybe use CAOD cleaner and restrict the thread to non-spam posters and then see what people are really saying? "I might not have meant anything by it"

If everyone who wanted bob gone all got coordinated took all of the systems that didn't have a cyno jammer, then did a 24/7 perfect camp to let the pos fuel run out, or wait for them to bring down the jammer to jump fuel in, then jumped in a massive fleet that is > than BoBs, then they could do it. But thats a big IF, plus theres lag and BoB are fairly good at what they do. P.S. Also not to sure, but there must be a way to combat thier sov and get it below 3? (not too sure if it turns off the jammer once its up, im not a big pos/sov guy)
