I think the that the main mistake you have made is judging an Alliance by the KB stats, that gives you some insight but its really not enough. That would be like reading Baseball game stats and thinking you fully understood what happened. Agreed Tri Nano gangs are something that should not be taken lightly but they can be killed. Tri Fleets can be killed they tend to have the advantage of T2 support ships though that can give them an edge over fleets with younger players still in T1. But like I said they are not something you need to fear because although they will enagage you knowing they could lose a ship they dont go all out thats sort of reserved for some other Alliances. Alliances that pull out all the stops and will come at you with a vengance are the ones you need to be concerned about. There are a few out there like this RA & AAA being two that come closest to mind. But as for the future. well EVE is still a some what large Universe and I don't see a single Alliance dominating. Was a good read and it just a shame that it's going to be dis-credited by alts and Goon haters. If I was on the receiving end of this I would be demanding answers and results instead of excepting the lies. I honestly hope that the BoB leaders can accept they're failing and start performing for their followers. We've lulled our opponents into a false sense of confidence. Oh, yes. Everything is going according to plan. Those fools, they think they can win... by winning.

However its about the fights, the odds of being outnumbered and still coming out on top. We can field small skirmish gangs and large fleets when required. We very rarely duck from a fight even if outnumbered 3:1. Its all about pvp and playing and enjoying the game for that reason.

SMASH Alliance	Posted - 2008.02.08 12:18:00 - [207] IMHO , I don't think there is any formula which would assure an Alliance of any kind indefinite domination over the world of EVE.At least , as I said , not on long term. Sheer numbers ensured ASCN domination of the South for SOME PERIOD of time.The same sheer numbers will ensure Goonswarm domination over the same South (and maybe even more) also for a CERTAIN PERIOD of time. PvP experience , great leadership skills , unique capital fleet and also incredible Production/Manufacturing skills and experience ensured BoB the longest (timewise) domination of both North and South regions.But , as long as it lasted , it did come to and end nowadays as they are limited atm to , say , 90% of Delve (only 1 region). Tricky tactics , backstabbing and great capital fleet ensures Red Alliance domination for their region of space but it also proved to be mere temporary. Both BoB and RA had/have impressive Logistics support and diplomacy skills (many times more than "questionable") but this doesn't ensure LONG TERM domination of EVE either! If I may say an oppinion , the ONLY things that can ensure an Alliance LONGer THAN AVERAGE TERM domination are : 1.The most important : ACTIVITY and DEDICATION of Alliance people , of its ranks. It doesn't matter if an Alliance has 5000 members or 500 members , what REALLY MATTERS is how many are online at any given moment for the Alliance. Example : Goonswarm has maybe more than 6000 members ,but you can NEVER find more than 300-400 online in fleet opperations. BoB has around 2500 members , but you can always see 250-300 online for Alliance operations. But even that , 10% of all ranks , are not even close to enough. The real superpower will be that Alliance with say,1000 members , and with 500-600 of them online for the operations and ANY GIVEN TIME! The PvP experience is not crucial : people will get that experience in time , they are meant to learn - that's EVE all about The Logistics support is not crucial at the beginning : with more than 50%-60% members online at any given time , that will surely be covered. Cap Fleet ? That also comes in time , gradually! IF such an Alliance will succesfully manage to keep at least 50%-60% of its members ACTIVE,ONLINE and DEDICATED , it will achieve more than BoB+RAGOON altogether! Just my humble oppinion!
