That was attempted for a while. I have never seen goons sit on something quietly for so long. When it became apparent that the people it was being reported to wanted nothing more than to have it disappear quietly, some goons moved on to the last resort of a threadnaught. I think you are looking at it the wrong way. The worst part about the whole situation is that it took a hacker and a threadnaught to keep it all from being quietly swept under the rug. The stuff CCP admitted happened is also nothing compared to the dozens of other things that were discovered in the internal messages kug provided.

Funny story here actually. We did ask kug to do one thing for us. Audit our forum and find any developers so that we could boot them. He found none. So either the goon developers are better at hiding their tracks than the BoB ones were, or there are none.

Every day Kug would find some new exploit to use against the forums software and our server guy went fucking nuts.

It is found that he gains access to virtually all of the directorate's PM boxes. -He decides he likes goons more than BoB for some reason. -Starts doing what he did to us to BoB and posting the results on our forums by hacking more goon accounts. He posts a whole lot of incriminating info about BoB and keeps going even though we keep banning him.
