I don't know I'm really good at math but well my SAT scores show it all. I got a 1200 out of 1600 on the SAT I got a 780/800 on the math part. I think IQ tests are very real world number based, and creative thinking, but please don'ty make me write anything I'll look stupid :P

Since doing IQ tests doesn't actually have an industry applicable skill, there's not much point in training to be good at them. PS. My IQ is 77. When I was 12 is was 164. But really, it does mean little, as you could not be very skilled at arranging some shapes, but be very intelligent and the chemistry needed to invent to rocket fuel (or some other really smart thing). When I took this I got "above 160" (which is bull****)... the difference being I had no time limit on this test so I was able to take my time to figure it out. The whole thing is pointless IMO, someone really smart could've been impatient and get a lower score. And mediocre people like me could spend a whole hour on it and do better. That said my IQ, as determined by some professionally administered test they gave me when I was like 6, is in the low 140's. To give you guys an idea of what an IQ in the low 140's actually translates to, I'm doing well working on a degree in Nuclear Science and Engineering at MIT (check the host of my sig if you don't believe me). Not that high IQ guaranties anything, especially in the US where the population of people with an IQ over 130 has the same high school dropout rate as the national average. Put it this way, if you're IQ is over 100, you're at least capable of carrying on a conversation, and thus capable of handling the worst EVE can throw at you. The questions are general low-mid level complexity although they are somewhat accurate of what a real WAIS IQ test would ask in that complexity range. Adjusting for that, and the small number of questions, I'd put most of you displaying 141-160 back in the 120-140 range (that's being generous) just based on national averages. Unless, of course, you actually took a real administered test and have real results.
