I was wonderering: Will there ever gonna be a frigate deathmatch tournament where you just drop 40 players in a bowl and let them stirr the hell out of eachother:P
no rules just plain old dirty frigates beating the crap out of eachother:D

What's with britons and Benny Hill, have you secretly developed timetravel back to the days when that was considered funny? Some ingame references, however biased would be preferable over that to a no talent hack.
Shovel another hill over Benny and let him stay buried!

I realise it may be a bit late for this tournament...but what are the chances of getting multiple selectable feeds back for the next tourney?
I can watch the matches at work  but my computer at home just gives me the middle finger when I try to watch it there.
Maybe multiple feeds with different formats?
Also, got any chicken soup? I'm sick as a dog.

In the broadcast, is it possible that the drones be designated by red/blue "Xs" as opposed to colored in boxes? That way the ships can be easily distinguished. As it is, I just see a confusion of red/blue blobs.

Hey, how about drone trajectory and some NFL drawing on screen to illustrate the commentators points? Maybe use a few tournament backlogs to practise on before implementing...
Oh and question to StevieSG, where are Privateers in all of this, the selfproclaimed kings of PvP?!

There ARE multiple feeds, you just don't see it directing you to your own appropriate stream..

Hey Stevie,
As we are about to kick off Day 4 of the BIG NUMBER 5, I had a few comments and questions I wanted to ask you and the esteemed EVETV commentators.
First, I've noticed you guys taking a lot of flack on the forums this past week, and I would just like to say those peeps need to get pod ganked every two seconds. You guys are the best and though I know you don't need it, I want you all to know that you have my support, respect, and sexy love.
Ok here's to my questions, I have a few...
1. With the conclusion of AT5, will EVE TV be back and better than ever with regular coverage? I have to tell you, I've been going through withdrawls since the end of season 1. What does Spiral and all the other guys think about comming back?
2. In relation to the first question, the First Councel of Stellar Management begins on May 5, will EVE TV be there to bring us all the latest? Will Spiral have plenty of wity banter to humiliate the councel with?
3. The first three days of AT5 saw a lot of loooong drawn out fights and a few awesome fights. Most notibily was Notoriety Alliance and their awesome innovative faction setups. My question for you and all the guys are, can anyone beat them? They completely mowed through SyncrOnicity's dual logistics fielding.
4. Specifically for Eds, with KIA's two victories being some close calls and nail biters, do they stand a chance against Notoriety's innovation when we get to bracket play?

1. What do the people there at the studio think of this years prizes? Do you think they should be improved, are just right, or need to be nerfed a bit?
2. What do you think would be the best setup to counter the two battleship, two support cruiser and two ew frigate setup?

Calmdown seems a pretty funny guy, I would love to know what his comercial was about, as I did not get it as it seemed to go by kind of fast for me :)
So like what was that comercial? it made me lol, that was funny but I was wondering WHAT was it about?
Edit: Cool now I see Verone has one too, cool, but tbh Calmdowns seemed like it was actualy about something, but I don't know what... Hmmm? hehehe

Hey, just curious after watchin this Hydra vs. Notoriety, whats the policy on scooping incapacitated drones of other people? Seems if there was some damage drones layin around the last sentinel coulda picked the dps back up.

Note: Put this in seperate post before I noticed this thread, so posting it here as a question to the tournament experts.
To StevieSG:
In the 4th tournament remote sensor dampers were massively abused, with many teams deploying them on practically every ship on thier team because they were such a powerful mod with no downside. The Dev's afterwards nerfed dampers and now you dont see nearly as many used in this tournament.
In even earlier tournaments NOS was massively abused in the same way for the same reasons. The Dev's afterwards nerfed NOS and now you dont see nearly as many used in this tournament.
Since fully nano'd teams don't make sense in a tournament fought within a confined space where warping in and out of combat is not allowed, what mod (if any) do the experts think is being overused in this tournament and is pointing to a possible nerf in the future by the Dev's?

could be a (slightly ****y) tactic for a gallente team, with a couple of larger ships spitting out drones with the intiesor whatever grabbing and using dropped drones when theirs die, whilst orbiting at speed out of range. no idea if it'd work tho.

You have mentioned "Spider Tanking" a few times throughout the tournament, but i can't figure out what it means :(
My best guess would be repping drones, cause the repped ship might look like a spider because of the "legs" created by the droneswarm :P

Spider tanking is when you fit at least one remote armor repairer on to each of your ships and usually no normal armor repairer. You can then put the tanking power of all your ships onto whichever ship is called primary.
