As a Caldari, I strive to maximize utility. It would be irrational to abstain from utilizing better products offered by foreign competitors. Protected industries are a sacrilege, and no self-respecting Caldari could ever internally foster such idle notions. 'Caldarian Racism' is inherently un-Caldarian.
I do, however, refrain from the usage of Amarrian ships. Partly due to their horrid appearance, and partly due to the slave labor utilized in their production. I can't stand the thought of operating something which is so antithetical to the nature of free-market capitalism.

I mostly fly Caldari ships, as any good Caldari would; however, if I can find a very good reason to fly a non-Caldari ship, I will do so, only because any advantage is a good advantage.

One of my goals is to be able to fly every ship. Therefore I have awhile to go. I guess that would make me an open minded pilot according to the standard set here.

I can fly all 4 races Cruisers and are trained to fly Gallente and Amarr BSes (both tiers) and I wanne be able to fly everything :P

All Minmatar and Amarr ships (BTW all ship lvls to lvl 4 except Amarr Industrial)
Exception in the future we'll see caldari, yes for everyone that thinks I killed them when I was in FA I still can't fly even the basic Caldari Frigates!
My alt is stricktly Gallente and only will use hybrids on them.
Now the question is who am I? 
Yes I know my character looks ugly, but I don't care its an alt |

Well being caldari and pragmatic by nature im not an EXTREME racist, I fly whatever ship is best for the task...
the galente still owe us a planet , so im mostly boykotting their designs, allthough out of logical thinking, i still sometimes fly an iteron MkV. Its ugly, it got a gallente stench on it, still i can load a small mountain in its hold.
if you ever see me flying my Iteron V, dont wonder why my voice is muffled.. that stench only allows operation of the ship while wearing a gas mask...
the minmatar on the other hand are not very fond of me.. might be some of the slave deals i did, but what should i have done? i had to feed them while they were and still are in my cargo holds, so i cannot simply let them go . i however see to it that their masters are handeling them well, elsewise i might raise the price.
minmatar ships are however easily built. simply use a power core with a big electromagnet, and activate it in a debris field. after some time, veld some engines and weapons to the pile of junk, and there you go, another tempest ready to set sail...
the amarrians are quite decent folks. even if i do not share their religious ideas, you can get along with them pretty fine. they stick to their word (an important trait when doing buisness) and even are social thinking... how else could it be explained they still wish to enlighten the minmatar even though these are shooting at them?
aside from that, the amarrians are the only other decent ship builders beside the caldari, so combat ship wise, i will go exclusively with these two.

Well. I am a Gallente and have up to Cruiser 3, but will be starting Caldari and studying all that because they allow missle launchers, plus I like their glowing style.

My character is Minmatar, so I've learnt the Minmatar cruiser and indy skills.
I'm also learning frigate skills for all the other races, mainly to help out the newbies in my corp. It only takes a few hours to get frigate 3 from scratch, so not as if it has cost me much time to do that. I may or may not take these further, depending on how my character develops in the future.

I'm sticking with my race's ships (Minmatar)... But I'm half Gallente so I do have some skills there to.
I think doing all 4 races ships might be going a bit far and reducing your training time for other stuff a bit to much, but having atleast 2 races to chose from when shopping for new ships is probobly a good idea.

I fly caldari and training Amarian, mainly to use the apoc for mining to aid my bissnes..
On the Galante part, imagine the agony for an gallantean being destroyed by an say megathron drived by an caldarian!! That will show them whos the boss!
All caldarians out there driving the Galantean ships! you have my respect for standing the smell to gshow the galanteans whos the boss... Dont forget to crush em with you main ships thou as they will think we drive their ships becouse our are inferior...

Semi racist here
Started out as Minmatar only
But i got hooked to the Hauling buisness and ended up training the Iteron mark V
And since i also got a Thorax ( for mining wich i rarely use ) i now also have that

No point in being crap at everything.
I have 2 races to battleship and I don't regret that one second. 3rd race is minmatar but I only have frigate 3 there.

i started playing a few weeks ago, and jumpes from my ibis, to a bantom, to an imicus, to a thorax, and am currently 1 week of training from useing a typhoon...
the bantom i got cause i needed a better ship fast
the imicus i got for mining
the thorax i got cause my friend and i were wondering what escrow was, i bought the BPC and built it 
the typhoon i love the look of, its taken me 3 weeks so far to collect the ores for it, and im loving ever minute of it, cant wait till ive finished training to use it...
after im done with my typhoon, ill sit back, save some cash for once, train some skills.
ill probably eventually get an apoc, but thats another 2-3 weeks of training  but im a miner/builder by heart...

I loath the look of Minmatar ships.
Caldari ships looks like boxes with engines inside.
Let's guess what I fly...
I am a racist, and fly only ships produced by Gallente and their most loathed enemies, the Caldari (although it hurts inside)

I stick to minmatar, but only because I can't be bothered to train skills in other races. Essentially, with a few minor differences, all the races ships do the same things:
1. get you from a to b
2. Carry stuff from a to b
3. Let you kill things when you get to b.
I'd rather learn one racial set of skills, and then learn to fly those ships really well.
The alternative of spending my valuable training time working on other races ships, for really very marginal tactical benefits, does not seem very sensible to me.

I`m a very open minded i have minmatar bs at lvl5 becouse they are awesome kicking ass machines, and i mine in amarr bs as this is only thing it could do properly;)
I as minmatar dont go so low to mine in our bss it is shame to put such awesome ship into such inferior task as "attacking" asteroids;)

I'm currently trying to pilot all ships (except tech 2) due to being a manufacturor. If you can't shift your products, then you're stuck with them.
Besides that, you never know when you may come across and abandoned ship whilst exploring :)
