In a paper published in 1982, paleontologist Dale Russell, curator of vertebrate fossils at the National Museum of Canada in Ottawa, conjectured that, had the Chicxulub meteorite not exterminated the dinosaurs 65 million years ago, bipedal predators (theropods) which existed at that time, such as Troodon, would have evolved into intelligent beings similar in body plan to humans.
Troodontids had semi-manipulative fingers, able to grasp and hold objects to a certain degree, and binocular vision. Like most dinosaurs of the troodontid family, this imaginary creature, which Russell called the "Dinosauroid", would have had large eyes and three fingers on each hand, one of which would have been partially opposed.
As with most modern reptiles (and birds), its genitalia would likely have been internal. Russell speculated that it would have required a navel, as a placenta aids the development of a large brain case, however it would not have possessed mammary glands, and would have fed its young, as birds do, on regurgitated food. Its language would have sounded somewhat like bird song.

Edited by: Lerinda Rasa on 17/03/2008 15:53:19 Oh for god's sake. If you are going to copy and paste inoformation from the WIKIPEDIA project at least say so. I'll quote the rest of the "relevant" part of the paragraph for you.
Quote: Russell's fanciful speculation has been met with criticism from other paleontologists since the 1980s, many of whom point out that Russell's Dinosauroid is overly anthropomorphic. Gregory S. Paul (1988) and Thomas R. Holtz Jr., consider it "suspiciously human" (Paul, 1988) and argue that a large-brained, highly intelligent troodontid would retain a more standard theropod body plan, with a horizontal posture and long tail, and would probably manipulate objects with the snout and feet in the manner of a bird, rather than with human-like "hands". Darren Naish (2006) pointed to the ground hornbill as a better model for an intelligent dinosaur.[4][5]

EDIT: Adding the part about EVE at least makes it almost funny. Good job Sephra.

Ask yourself...
Why was the man in this linked video not delivered to the Hague Court?

Interestingly Mullah Omar offered to deliver Usama to the Hague Court before the invasion of Afghanistan.

Question - What makes a Rolex watch so special?
Answer - ôHot dogs.ö
Hot dogs are made from the byproducts of normal meat processing. This stuffing of crap into a thin skin is essentially the educational process for regular schmoes.
People will take any piece of information, no matter how flawed, and shove it into their brain like it was carved in stone by the flaming hand of God.
These people then develop ideas and base actions on said flawed information. Hence the aforementioned hot dogs, and in more extreme cases, racists, bigots, politicians and all other manner of lesser humans.ö
ôExamples.ö
The Wright Brothers invented the airplane.ö
ôOh wait. The French were flying model airplanes 30 years before Kitty Hawk.ö
ôColumbus proved the world wasn't flat.ö
ôOh wait. The Germans were making globes before Columbus was even born.ö
ôMedical. You have to wait an hour after eating before you can go swimming.ö
ôMom used to tell us that.ö
ôThe Red Cross printed that beauty up in safety pamphlets until the AMA made them take it out because it was stupid.ö
ôsheesh; All that time we sat on the beach...ö
ôAnd my personal favorite, bulls are attracted to the color red.ö
ôNow wait a minute--ö
ôBulls are color blind,
ôMuch of what we have been taught is a lie.ö
ôYou must unlearn what you have learned,ö
[b]Question[b] So, Rolex watches aren't the best, you're just paying for a hyped up name? Then why in the hell would you pay 32,000 dollars for one?ö
[b]Answer[b] Because ôIt's a Rolex.

amazing... Sephra, you are one dedicated troll and i salute you for it.
i would continue to argue, but i would just be repeating myself. there is an amazing amount of conjecture on these subjects, and pretty much nothing that we can call actual proof.

People are convicted and sent to prison on circumstantial evidence all the time in America. That is an undeniable fact.
It is appaling how many innocent people have been put to death for crimes they never committed in the United States. In a very controversial move not long ago one of our American Governors suspended every death sentence of every prisoner in the entire state as he was leaving office. Boy did that **** a lot of people off. He pardoned quite a few falsely convicted murderers and rapists.
Starting a war under false pretence and murdering millions of innocent civilians sounds like a crime to me. It is also an incontrovertable fact that it is what has been done; and more to the point we also know beyond the shadow of any doubt in this criminal case who is responsable.
...and you talk about lack of evidence?

You have to sift through ancient wizards and reptilian shapshifters episode after episode until you hit something that is actually well done and factual.
However, to be the devils advocate on this one sided board, I would like to say that Conspiracy people like myself get it wrong all the time just as much as science does or the government does or corporations do. However, there are some conspiracies that our fathers were talking about that are basically fact now...
For example...The CIA had to admit to MKUltra finally A quick over on Project MKUltra
Remember even back 10 years ago, if you talked about something like this, the responses to such a thing were met by the same type of wild snickering and 20 second judgements posted in this thread.
But that is not really the point...The bad thing about conspiracies is that if you dont do your research, then you are just spouting doom and gloom and it is a vessel for a victim type of mindset which spawns that type of negative thinking.
The positive however is that you really start to understand that power of an individual 's perspective is one of the most powerful forces on the planet when that individual trusts his own gut and his wits and considers them with equal weight applied to the information he or she is taking in from external sources. That is a very cool thing.
We live in an incredibly interesting time. Many would like you to believe that the battle of our time is at a crucial point of right verses wrong. When in reality the battle of our time is over perception.
Its not that conspiracy theories wont go away because there will always be those nut jobs out there trying to get attention. They wont go away because people will always ask questions like what are the odds that the FBI can lose 5000 documents pertinent to the Oklahoma city bombings weeks before a trial on such a high profile case. What are the odds that a New York city governor notorious for prosecuting corrupt mortgage lending corporations gets caught nailing a hooker on the same day that the government shells out 200 billion to bailout these same companies. How come nobody investigates the bush family's ties to the Bin Laden family (He was head of the CIA when Bin laden was trained to fight the soviets in Afghanistan, the bin laden family still invests in the Carlyle group board of directors are bu****es, George W. failed oil deals in Texas with one of bin ladens brothers).
Legitimate questions to be asked...
I like Ron Paul as well. There are somethings I dont like about his policies, but he is the only candidate running that hasnt had campaign fund investments by corporations. I like that.

Well I did manage to infiltrate the members forum on the Mason's main lodge website in Washington D.C. some years ago. I was able to spy on them for a couple of weeks till they caught on. They actually got my phone number and called me up. Started quizing me as I was pretending to be a member of the local Tampa Lodge. The guy was very upset.
It was very interesting reading the posts of a 33rd degree Mason feeding his elitist mentality to a bunch of Neophytes.
I am originally from Tampa Florida.
You can take a look at what my home town boys think of the local Masons in Tampa at this link.
Linkage
About a year ago I was traveling through Nashville, Tennesee and as I was walking by the Masonic Lodge I noticed someone had managed to actually embed grafitti into the brick wall of the building with the words...
"NOT A SLAVE".

LONDON (Reuters) - Usama bin Laden's latest message shows that he sees Europe as fertile soil for al Qaeda, especially at a time of tension between free speech and Muslim values, but is unlikely to signal an imminent attack.

Wait, so Be****r Bhutto is some sort of font of truth now? So because she said ***** is dead he must be?
This is why most conspiracy theories are crap. They'll state one thing is true, but something that has as much evidence or more is obviously false.
I believe anything Bhutto said as much as I do what Bush says.
