For years, the Federation has suffered a slow but determined effort by Amarrian organisations to destabalise our society. Amarrian security forces routinely conduct reconnaissance deep in Federation territory. The covert enslavement of isolated Federation space colonies is now almost commonplace. Vast numbers of Matari people remain in Amarrian chains, weakening both the Federation and her allies in the Republic of their potential contributions to our great cultures. Particularly insidious, Port Sanctuary subverts and beguiles disadvantaged elements in the Federation, ultimately robbing them and their children of their freedom.
Yet, the true danger is that a continued lack of response by the Federation military will convince our neighbours that we lack resolve. Lest our enemies believe that the balance of power now favours Amarrian arms, we must act. The cost in lives and quality of life to the cluster's population leaves us no choice. Therefore, effective immediately, a state of CONCORD-sanctioned war exists between Strix Armaments and Defence and two Amarrian alliances well known for their support of Port Sanctuary and other activities detrimental to Federation security and the cause of freedom: Vigilia Valeria and Praetoria Imperialis Excubitoris.

Another corporation looking for some credibility by hopping on the anti-Amarr bandwagon.
The funny thing is, just yesterday I was dealing with a Federal recon-in-force in the heart of Imperial territory. Every one of the Empires plays these sorts of power games; this is nothing new to anybody. It especially shouldn't be new to you, as the Federation is probably the biggest player in the Machiavellian game of power politics, treating the Republic as a protectorate and meddling in their affairs, trying to corrupt Amarrian society with your heathen propaganda, and, well, we all know what you did to the Caldari people. That said, I really have no idea what you hope to achieve in defending the Federation with this unwarranted aggression against Imperial paramilitary forces. If nothing else, this will just serve to attract more negative attention towards the Federation from the Empire, causing that very thing you aim to prevent by attacking. Sounds rather silly to me.
Not that my opinion matters to you anyway. I'm sure we'll be seeing you 'defenders' of the Federation committing acts of hostility in Imperial space against Imperial interests any day now; we certainly have no reason to come to Federation territory to do the same, and if you had no plans to attack us in our home space there wouldn't be much need for a war declaration, would there.
I just want to make sure everyone knows who the aggressor is here.

It is always a pleasure to see another pod pilot organisation step up to the plate to combat the evils of the cluster.
Unfortunatly, we all know that neither the Republic or the Federation councils would consider a move to activly combat this particular evil, but, that is where us 'gods of the pods' come in to do what must be done.

Quote: make sure none of those damned Pax Amarria pamphlets survive either.
Quote: Written by the Heideran VII, the Amarr Emperor himself, Pax Amarria is the most remarkable book published in the last century. In it the Emperor writes about his hopes and dreams for peace throughout the galaxy; a vision that has propelled him into becoming the champion of improved international relations. His relentless strive for these goals has brought unparalleled harmony in the relationship between the empires; his constant search for peaceful solutions to any problem having many times becalmed brewing storm.
It would indeed be terrible if a book advocating peace between the peoples of the cluster were to survive.
Out of interest, which Amarrian planet will Strix be attempting to bombard from orbit, or do only the Caldari warrant such a "defensive" measure?

In recognition of your war declaration against the loyalists of Amarr I am pleased to announce the doubling of capacity for the Gallente Initiates program at Port Sanctuary. Likewise we are installing several factory modules where the Initiates can build their way to a clean lifestyle while learning the value of work.
All products that are produced by the Intiates will be donated free of charge to the Amarr loyalist corporations to support their work protecting our way of life from the corrupt Gallente Federation and it's assorted riffraff.

Will your campaign be focused on the defense of Federation worlds or will you be making offensive actions against targets in Amarrian space (including Providence) in support of terrorist, warlords, and fanatical causes?
The first case I celebrate. The second case, as Commodore Teravada said, watch where you step.

Many thanks to those who have passed on messages of support for our campaign against the evils of slavery whose tendrils have now reached into our own beloved Federation.
To the Amarr slavers. Your own actions have brought this down upon you. We have always vehmently opposed your way of life but chose not to act in force and give diplomacy a chance until you started to subvert our own most vulnerable citizens. The Minmatar have had to shoulder the burden of your cultural aggression alone for too long, but no longer. Return the Federation citizens and dismantle Port Sanctuary and peace may yet be achieved.
To the Caldari State supporters. Many times in the past you have accused us of meddling in other's affairs. I suggest you take your own advice and stay out of what does not concern you.

Port Sanctuary is operated by neither PIE nor VV. It is a facility owned by the SPCS.
Furthermore, PIE's policy is and always has been to defend the Empire rather than perform acts of aggression against the Gallente Federation. We Amarrians are a peace-loving people after all.
However, we reserve the right to pursue enemies of the Empire wherever they may be. Strix has now added themselves to the list of our enemies. As such, their decision to declare war on us has the potential to increase PIE activity in the Federation rather than diminish it.

Out of curiosity, any idea why a member of The Cyrene Initiative was seen early this morning in Providence with the words "CVA Friendly" in his public records?
I know CYI are dogs, but I didn't realize you were the type to ally with the masters of the very groups you seem to oppose, such as PIE. ____________________ GM Sunshine > oops Neurotica > Hate to see a GM in your gang say 'oops'

Not at all.
It's more a case of us not previously having any reason to patrol Federation space, so we didn't.
Now, we have a reason. We didn't want this war, but Strix have forced it upon us.

While my role is more ceremonial and I am not personally involved in the day to day operations of the SPCS I can assure you the organization does not conduct "slave raids" into Gallente space. The Gallente Initiates program is well documented and successful because it is 100% voluntary.
We do not "steal people" as this Minmatar heathen would have you believe rather we offer them a future and hope of rescue from a life wasted as citizens of a decadent perverse society.
The Gallente Initiate program is a great benefit to the Federation and you should thank us for it.
