Sad to se a veteran leave. I hope you find a new game or at least something to take up the time left from not having to slave over EVE.
I agree on most points you make, but I am going to stick it out. I have faith that CCP will wake up and realize who they are, once they are done being giddy from all the RL ISK.
I have a few months left before real life calls once again, but I hope CCP can entertain me a bit longer than that.
Anyway, good luck and dont forget...

Well if we want to start judging pastimes, then you could say the same for sports, television, movies, travelling etc
Its all rather pointless at the end of the day, just ways of filling time until we die..

You got it all wrong. Hitpoints is not the same as tank.
The hitpoint buff did nothing. It added a buffer, but a few thousand additional hp will melt in a couple of seconds.
It's rigs, rigs and rigs. And probably the buff for cap injectors.
Which ships are hard to kill?
Passive tanked drakes.
Tri-marked battleships and maybe battlecruisers.
Nano ships.
What do you need for those to really work well? Rigs. If you want to complain about ships that are hard to kill, complain about rigs, not the hp buffs.

Whatever you're playing is at the end of the day a computer game and as such has a finite lifespan as an entertaining pastime.

He forgot to mention that there are a lot more Americans playing than there were a few years ago. And not the ordinary, decent people variety, which make up the majority of Americans in RL. Rather EVE has attracted droves of the petulant, snot-nosed, basement-dwelling, borderline illiterate kind. Hey, if the Steam thing works out, maybe they can try promoting EVE on BattleNet!
Just spend ten minutes in Caldari rookie corp chat if you don't believe me. It reminds me of an old Ian Dury song, called "Spasticus Autisticus" :)

It's no surprise Awox is an attention ***** till the last. His Corp war dec'd mine when we had a spell in Sendaya and they were just chicken **** and never came out to fight.
Quit posts from anyone are just pointless, but this one is even more so. I am just disgusted at myself for rising to it and posting here but then even with my limited dealings with Advanced Chicken **** Logistics, I have come to dislike Awox with a passion

I'm sorry, and you are? I think I would have remembered someone who tries, yet fails so hard at smacking, be it in-game or out. OMFG i knew i the name awox sounded familiar...
Anyways, yea man the only complaints i have after coming back from a year and a half break is everyone has soo many more sp than i do...
But man awox if you don't like the game its your right to quit, however, as most people have said its a bit high and mighty of you to expect a nice warm reception and no flaming.... after all this is a forum btw.

nanoships: Well, you either love them or hate them. I myself started as Minmatar, as I wanted to be a pirate/raider and fast/nimble ships were the best option. It pains me to see what was once a greatly diverse game turn into a twitch shooter, for that I have [insert popular FPS here].
