As I stated before I edited the OP before you made your post because I was corrected on my TS as we were discussing this thread. Mistakes happen. I edited it and moved on. As far as your Cap count if you want to sit here and preach the outnumber card regarding Caps then go right on with it brother.
I was there and I know what I saw cynoing into my fleet 3 different times with 3 different cynos. If I was obsessed with counts I would go back and count total FDN Caps but Im not. Im sure the next thing your going to do is provide your own "count" of FDN Caps on the field so be my guest.
Whatever makes you sleep better at night I guess.

After miss counting your own caps and then claiming our own kb shows we had at least 14 when all 3 kb's clearly show 11 you should stay out of the counting business :/

More than one cyno does not mean a hundred capitals, it just means we used more than one cyno to drop our smaller (on the day) capfleet, in stages and with appropriate distances. Also it can have some psychological impact. Which seemingly it did.
And you say it's your fleet but you also say you only know the numbers involved after talking to someone on TS about a CAOD thread. Which strikes me as odd.
I don't really mind what you believe, all I'm saying is that the FiX, Veritas and FDN board all show us with 11 caps and you with 12 :) And it's quite certain you had more hardware; can't have people wriggling away from the facts. Nothing personal.
And what would make me sleep better at night is dropping 50 caps - fighting outnumbered is tougher for the pulse.

Its quite easy for the FC to lose track of certain aspects of his Fleet when he has Sub-Commanders helping him out on the field so he can handle everything else going on in the background, It happens. Unless I want to take the time to count your Caps in the battle its just a waste of breath to argue the point of what you had on the field.
Ill leave it at that and once again toast to a good fight and a good although inaccurate battlereport

Right, you desync'd yet were able to type "nice one guys" in local, and ccp reimbursed it within an hour 6 am in the morning. Whats next, you gonna tell us its not an FC's job to count capital ships in a fight? oh wait you already did :/

Hmm, who cares about a bs loss, but you've got the spade out now and things are going South. Also, reimbursed in 1hour 20minutes?
As for desync:

This if anything is proof that this thread has served is purpose :)
If all the forum warriors would actualy undock and fight then we would have more scraps like this to write/talk about. But unfortunately is very lonely in GW at the moment except for these 2 hours every day when we go to sleep, then certain people camp stations, run gangs and pat eachother on their backs "good work guys! we scared them away!" :P Comedy. (yes im a vampire i only sleep for avarage 2 hours a day)

I'm confused. You warp from a POS into a bubbled station,... get double webbed and popped 20 km from the station. And you lost your ship because you de-synched?
We would like them to undock more often as well. But, obviously, they get killed warping to dock too.
I like cheese \o/

Nothing to be confused about my good Viking. I quite possibly wouldnt have made it out of that situation however I wasnt even given the chance to attempt anything like cloak.
So even if the situation was grim it doesnt change the fact that I did infact desync. Much like your guys Dread did in the aforementioned fleet battle that you guys petitioned right?

Edited by: Antic on 24/03/2008 06:54:46 well wraith, they havent had much in form of victories to talk about since we got to this area so i guess a sin "loss" is the best they can do. Great morale boost guys, you killed a battleship!.
But hey, im a nice guy, i can come down in a shuttle, let you kill me and then you can post it here to help inflate the illusion that you guys arent actualy so desperately dried up of victories as you really are.
Edit: Oh and ill let you have the last word now, im sure it will be glooorious and all that. We are done with this thread :)

It's just the beauty of the fact that you got caught with your pants down talking about the numbers of caps, which didnt match those on your own killboard (not even 50%), so you edited all your posts, and then while editing it/smacking, you lost your black ops ship too:
Originally by: Wraithstorm I typed that as I was warping to the station. :)
..bad idea it would seem. Or type faster! great caod moment..
but you did apologise for claiming silly and wrong capital numbers, once you realised there was proof from 3 killboards to back up the battlereport, which is cool, though it makes it look like you tried to lie. The odd part is you also claiming to be FC, when you don't know how many caps you have, and tried to run simply on principle of 3 cynos without counting enemy caps.
Originally by: Wraithstorm

mmhmmm.
another tip: never go on about how much fun you've having on caod, it makes it seem like you're getting angry inside. and always leave it a day or two before claiming you got something on petition. -------------------------------

Edited by: Montmorency on 24/03/2008 11:09:30 This is how I see it, for a while now Foundation has had the run of Wildlands, which was great for all the non-pirates out there, a few weeks ago -V- FIX BYDI RUIN and others all blued up and dropped a rather large cap fleet into EO2 which outnumbered FDN and started taking out POS, you have gone in again for a little run about in 0.0, FDN's chose their moment and with intel dropped a cap fleet on you (bigger or smaller I just dont care). Fact of the matter is at the end of the day FDN had the better tactic in this fight regardless of the size of the cap fleet.

Look at all the foundation idiots talking big because they have won a fight, guys you are one of the worst alliances around and your pvp skills are appalling, stop smacking on coad and start trying to learn how to fly your ships.

Agreed, FDN Semi-Smacking because they won, -V- + others semi-smacking because they dont agree with whats been said, at the end of the day everybody is saying the fight was smack free and yet the aftermath is not... just smack in game and have done with it

Let's just keep this thread as clean as the local was after and during the battle. It's been a blast so far, lets keep it that way.

I was not there myself to fight which is a shame but the BYDI guys says it was a good fight.. Both dreads went down for the well known desync but i heard from FDN that their dread suffered the same death..
A shame really that CCP put in ships ment for big pos fights and dont have a server that can handle it..
Grats to FDN for holding the field..
