Okay, this may shock some, but I hope people can take the truths I'm trying to get out, and act accordingly. This, to me, is pretty grave stuff, and deserves a response.
I figured out why Mr. Plave Okice - of Red. - has created RvB. Behind the scenes, Plave has been running a group of salvagers around two key systems û Bei, Blue headquarters, and Hatakani, Red headquarters. Now, we all thought RvB would be a blast, pew pew and all that, but little did any of us know, until now, that Plave was doing all this for our burning wrecks.
Currently, I estimate he has salvaged over 80% of all wrecks related to RvB, including third party losses like those from MF. MF... now that's another matter I'll get back to later. For now, suffice it to say that every time one of us goes down, Plave makes 80% of our salvage value. Money that goes almost directly to him and a few working with him.
Now, all this would be sort of acceptable, except he has set a former RED as Blue alliance leader, who will pretend to make mistakes as FCing, leading fleets into certain death scenarios, or into total slaughters of Red gangs. And all but Plave and Talan are completely unaware of this, and just go along with full trust. It sickens me, that they would play such a game with their own forces, people who trust them, maybe even look up to them, just to make money of our wrecks.
And that leads to the final piece in all this. I have reliable information from a contact in MF, that their war against us was contracted by a so-far un-revealed client. I guess everyone can guess who? Yes, Plave Okice, who tried to scam me into selling a rigged Megathron to him at way below cost (ôWe're both in RvB mate, I'll help you some other time!ö), has HIRED MF to war-dec RvB, and keeps them supplied with intel on our positions and fleets. Plave doesn't much care who wins, his neutral salvagers will profit anyhow, just as long as many people die. Like a vampire, sucking RvB dry to extend his own wallet-life. But I bring the light of truth to his scheme!
So, there you have it. RvB is just one big money-maker for Plave who directs his unknowing pawns into endless deaths that generate endless ISK for him. Profiting from the demise of your fellow players to such an extent... for shame...

Honestly I find this hard to believe. I've been in Red since the beginning and I'd assume that if Plave has been doing this he'd have offered to cut me in by now.
It has been mostly the same NPC corp members salvaging wrecks around our battles wherever we go, but I think it's probably just a bunch of opportunistic n00bs.

Dammit, I'd joined RvB as a way of getting some (relatively) save PvP experience that wasnt going to be in low sec, and in the last week I've lost around 800Mil's worth of kit and ships - if this is true, I'm probably going to pack it in and head back to carebear'ing.
Its a sad state of affairs when a great idea like RvB ends up being twisted in such a way, its things like this that end up really shafting this level of group interaction.
What a gimp.

So? Isn't this the purpose of the games. Plave is just working on a lower level than CCP. They make us all pay monthly with real money to see our ships get wrecked.

Funny though, now that I think on it, I lost that Rokh with Talan as FC - suddenly it all becomes clear.

Tbh I don't really care. So many people fly T1 ships anyways that he can't be making much out of it and he's allowing ppl to have a good time and enjoy the game whilst doing so. To me it seems as if everybody wins (I haven't really been in any fleets or big gangs though so I don't know what these fights end up like).

Also: Who cares if hes making money off these wars? As long as your all having fun pew pewin it shouldnt matter if hes making a quick buck. All problems can be solved if noone dies anymore :3
