The forum trolls will however read anything they want into it or they would have nothing to do in EVE :P Tortuga, by design will go forward as an neutral entity. Bob was red by virtue of the fact that we needed to remove them from period basis to secure space to call home. By the same token, the coalition was blue because they were killing Bob at the time and it seemed awefully silly that we kept killing them on thier way to Delve. Now that the conflict is centered in Delve, and there is a pause in the fighting, it seemed as good a time as any to nuke the standings list and go about the business of securing our claim. Going forward, "blue" standings to a Tortugan entity will only come about as the result of terms of a contract. The blue status will only remain for the duration of the contract and will be only with the member(s) of Tortuga involved with said contract. What it all came down to was that MC leadership would never engage BOB with a Cap on Cap fight. 0utbreak and Evoke grew tired of the cowardness of the MC fleet commanders. All they wanted was a fight of EPIC porportions. There were times Tortuga had a fleet of well over 200 and a BOB fleet of 150 comes in. MC leadership calls for a warp to the POS and to not engage. This grew old very quickly. Those who were there from either side know exactly what I am talking about. Weeks went by and TPAR eventually fell. Toxin and Evoke decided to move out to greener pastures while the rest of the Tortugans pushed on to Delve. More and more blues started appearing. This meant less and less targets. So Evoke and 0utbreak go to find some other targets. With the full intention of returning if the area was ever to come under attack. A couple more weeks went by and things seemed fine. Then moon constellation compositions were released. MC found out exactly what moons were around Evoke/Toxin occupied space. Safe to say they became outraged. Greed set in. Evoke was kicked out and 0utbreak was given the benefit of the doubt. 0utbreak decided to leave due to the mere fact that MC was well overhyped for their pvp prowess(due to decimating weak and incompetent alliances during their northern campaign.) Also 0utbreak wanted to keep their long lasting friendship with Evoke. Either way you look at this. Tortugans are 1 titan less, several super caps less, and even more capitals less. This will prove to be costly especially when someone attempts to invade the region which can actually field a large capital fleet. Because afterall we all know MC will POS up when that happens. Just ask BOB.

Also 0utbreak wanted to keep their long lasting friendship with Evoke. Either way you look at this. Tortugans are 1 titan less, several super caps less, and even more capitals less. This will prove to be costly especially when someone attempts to invade the region which can actually field a large capital fleet. Because afterall we all know MC will POS up when that happens. Just ask BOB. Ummmm.... no If you think that that any of the leadership of any of the Tortugan groups did not know what moons were in other parts of PB you are sorely mistaken. Everyone knew the layout of PB from day one. As as I remember from my time there various fleets against BoB were led by members of all the member groups at different times.

So we wasn't able to took TPAR, the last key system in Period Pasis, cyno jammed and hold by BOB. At that point the invasion of the coalition has nearly stopped and they faced thesame problems we did, running our nose bloody at cyno jammed systems. That is what binded us together, we didn't fall in love overnight and wanted to marry, to stay side by side for the eternity. We simply needed each others help to carry on. The Coalition helped us taking TPAR, we helped them taking QY6. At that point we were done, going back to buisness as usual doing small contracts to relax a bit. We and the coalition still had us blue, also not because of deep love, we hoped they will perhaps help us, when BOB attacks Period Base and they had enough problems with bob alone and didn't need a neutral or hostile cap fleet in their back, jump on everything which looks weak enough to be ganked with ease. You see this wasn't a partnership for lifetime; so after a few weeks Thyrraks had an EMO day (or drunk, not shure with these IACs) and set us red, RA followed by setting us neutral, AAA is willing to attack us everytime i think --> our lovely days with the coalition are gone now, so we reset our standings too.

'I' dont know the special reasons why it went this way (and i dont want to know anymore or speculate much), was it about us not participating in the delve thing, or about (one of) the best constellation in pb.. the one we got? hell not even till now I know whats so special there and my corp didnt even care about any moons whatever. i guess some people just got some big plans about how to develop pb and us not caring that much about it might be the reason. anyways, its all cool, we know eachother a little better now, people are still in contact, i no longer need to care about logistics down there and we cant be forced to do things we dont like anymore best of luck to the tortugans, i heard you have some fun coming in your direction?

The reason why tortuga napped all the colation was because it was obvious that with the fear of lossing capitals in modern pos warfare you are not going to take a system with an active defender like bob. Its surley easier to blaim evoke and outbreaks participation while infact it was more the lack of leadership when it was needed. Intresting is all the rumours about deals with this or that entety, also intresting will be if this is going to work out in the long run, when you wanna establish a neutral space for "mercs"

Tortuga was founded by Evoke, Daisho, Kia, MC and Outbreak, to escape the big war and to create a neutral/save space for Mercanaries in Period Basis. We resetted standings to everybody and started to conquer a few systems from BOB, but the participation of Evoke and Outbreak wasn't like we expected it. So we wasn't able to took TPAR, the last key system in Period Pasis, cyno jammed and hold by BOB. At that point the invasion of the coalition has nearly stopped and they faced thesame problems we did, running our nose bloody at cyno jammed systems. That is what binded us together, we didn't fall in love overnight and wanted to marry, to stay side by side for the eternity. We simply needed each others help to carry on. The Coalition helped us taking TPAR, we helped them taking QY6. At that point we were done, going back to buisness as usual doing small contracts to relax a bit. We and the coalition still had us blue, also not because of deep love, we hoped they will perhaps help us, when BOB attacks Period Base and they had enough problems with bob alone and didn't need a neutral or hostile cap fleet in their back, jump on everything which looks weak enough to be ganked with ease. You see this wasn't a partnership for lifetime; so after a few weeks Thyrraks had an EMO day (or drunk, not shure with these IACs) and set us red, RA followed by setting us neutral, AAA is willing to attack us everytime i think --> our lovely days with the coalition are gone now, so we reset our standings too. Bring your stuff to Feyth, it will maybe save you from loosing your face!
