After that I don't know prob Brutix, then Drake, then Prophecy, then Cyclone, then ferox. That would be my ordering at least. ------- Even my barge has kills...
VicturusTeSaluto Metafarmers	Posted - 2008.03.30 23:30:00 - [9] First, there is no such thing as "PVP." Second, the myrm is a pile of ****. It has a nice active tank, and the extra med lends some versatility- but that is it. It has no gun damage bonus, so the DPS is a complete joke. The marginal drone DPS only counts in EFT, not in EVE. If you fight in low sec you will lose drones around sentries, and even if you do not it is VERY easy to pop all the drones and remove most of the ship's DPS; it is especially easy to kill the drones when you are pretty much limited to mediums and lights which are one-volley'd by ships with a high alpha, and are also pretty quickly killed by smarties. Drones are also slow to reach the target which will die before they arrive if you are in a large gang(could use 3 sentries, but the drone bandwidth is just a slap in the face to people that skilled drones). I like most of the BC's. The damage bonus on the brutix makes it a very nice gank ship. I like to use either the cookie cutter dual rep setup, or for a lot more fun a plated setup with 3xMFS II. The harb also has very nice DPS as a gank ship. The drake is nice for soaking up damage. The hurricane really stands out for its versatility. It can be: tanked(with rigs etc), nano'd, gank, or can maintain a very attractive balance between tank/gank. Furthermore, barrage is just magical- even without a nano setup you can stay out of web range and use barrage against slower ships. You also have the ability to pick between damage types. The guns also do not depend on cap which is another plus.

It still does around 100dps more than dual-rep electron brutix(~650 total), while tanking the same amount of dps and having spare midslot.. as well as wing of lights and wing of ECM drones.. go figure That said, my vote goes to Hurricane for solo, Harbinger for gangwork.

Also: 2 pieces of 1600mm rolled tungsten tells me, its hammertime. SO IMHO: 1. Brutix (it has only 1 purpose, and he is the best in that) 2. Harbinger (like the Bruti, but with more iskies for the blink-blink) 3. Myrmi (has no role, its the best in nothing, and still the best all-around) 4. Prophecy (crap) 5. Caldari (made for/ made by rabbits, nothing for the jihad) 6. Minnie (ugly junkyardbandits, wouldnt put my feet in those second hand ships)

I fly Gank Brutix with ECM drones instead of the Myrmidon now. Edit: Best Small Gang - Brutix or Hurricane Best Larger Gang - Harbinger Best Lazy Gatecamper with large gang - Drake

A week or so ago I attacked an all T2 fitted Cane driven by a pilot with something like 18 months older than me and I totally creamed him in the Harbinger. A few days later I attacked another cane and the same thing happened (except this one nanoed his way out of it and ran with his tail between his legs). The last time I attacked a Brutix was three months ago and it was heavy going. He didn't have much of a tank but those things pack a wallop. We killed him but I had to call the cavalryà. =:) Now that my skills are much better I think I can kill the Brutix 1:1 in the Harbinger too. I haven't fought a Myrm or a Drake one-on-one but I know I can kill my corp mateÆs Drake without too much trouble. Issue with the drake it can be tanked like a castle wall. IÆd still give myself 50:50 odds with a drake from a pilot with similar age though.
