Over night, my alliance has disappeared (closed). I am not aware of not paying any alliance bills and I have not received any notification of EULA breach. The alliance has been in operation since last december.
*Should* I have forgotten a payment, how would I go about resolving the issue ?

*If* you dont pay the bills, shouldnt the alliance just be suspended, rather than closed ?

No it closes, if you orgot to pay the bill you will have to pay 1bill and take the name again.

Didn't something like this happen another alliance about a year ago? It just went poof from one day to the next. Seem to recall they did fix it though...

It used to be for non-payment of bills the alliance functions were disabled (adding new corps / kicking etc). But I'm pretty sure for a while now the result = no more alliance. Which is really a pretty bad way of handling it. Though it does mean that there are less open 1 person alliances etc.

Yes that alliance had to pay for 1bill and start it again, as they had forgotton to pay the bill (you get a 1 month warning to pay it).

In the player guides on the eve-online page it says :
"If the Executor Corporation does not pay the Alliance bills, all actions that the Executor can normally perform are suspended until the payments are brought up to date."

You will have to register it back, with a different name, pay 1 B again ofcourse.
The only thing you may recover it's the _tag_, nothing else.

Some months ago I was executor of a small alliance. When I forgot to pay the alliance fee, the alliance just closed without warnings or explanations, I bet the same happened to you. I sent a petition to GM but they answered after 1 month (and the "answer" was irrelevant to the matter), I hope it will be better for you. |

Player guides are *very* outdated, anyway. There's still a mention on the corp roles of 2006 there, for example.
I wonder if CCP would be interested of starting a community project to revise those, a bit in the vein of the new ISD news avalanche?

Good luck buddy. We still maintain that we never got a bill and our alliance was closed the next day after only existing for 1 month.

Yeah that happens when you forgot to pay a bill like told above,and no you do not get any warning ....
Imo would be handy ,imho not so though to create also but h'm no software engineer lol
There is a mechanic to re incarnate your alliance but it's still in test fase ,our alliance could not .
Perhaps your can .. if not you gotta pay the ! B again..

I understand the need to clear out old alliances that really are no longer functioning, but the current mechanic is a little harsh.
when you miss a bill, alliance should go suspended for a month, and if you miss the next bill, then you go closed.
going from working one day, with no clue that something bad is going to happen cause you lost the mail, to closed and too late the next day is not very fun. the suspension at least will clue peeps in. |

I've had an alliance close on an alt with no bill issued to the corp. I'd specifically looked for a bill, several times that month, becuase I'd created the alliance around the time another large alliance was closed due to none payment.
I looked for the whole first month. Expecting it any time. Never got a bill. Then the 30 days after i'd created it, the alliance disapeared.
I REALLY think they need to look into that, and at LEAST give you a week AND send you an eve mail. Haveing no notification that I have to be on the day the bill is issued is just wrong. You can't pre pay it, you can't do anything, but try to remember to be online on the 30th day after your alliance is created.

M.PIRE alliance which belonged to me has also been disbanded even though all bills were paid.
The alliance was being held by M.Corp Academy and I would like it to be re-instated please.
