OK its been a long time since I sold any GTC but it used to be 190m+ for a 30D, now its 160m? if not lower? WTF!?!?!?
It was already almost not worth it to buy/sell GTC for isk in the first place, but not its stupid to. This smells of ******s wanting to sell their GTC as fast as possible so they reduce prices ....... god dammit how stupid are people???? This is like throwing you money away. I mean its ALREADY throwing your real money away but its even worse now.
And you wont hear CCP complain about it or do anything about it because they are making bukoo bucks off this crap. IF CCP is going to allow buying/selling of GTC they should be responsible enough to regulate the prices for them. It should be a standard rate of at least 190m for 30D and so on. But like I said this will fall on deaf ears because ..... 1. Most people are too stupid to see the fault in this and 2. CCP doesn't care. This is WAY unbalanced for sellers of GTC.
I might as well buy isk of ebay, if it wasn't illegal. The funny thing is, is that I was always pro GTC selling until now.
Oh and don't bother posting crap like, "oh ur so ghey! Then dont do it!" because your the same exact idiot thats letting this happen.
This is CRAP, what incentive is there against buying isk from GTC rather than ebay (besides eula) with these prices. You see CCP crying about not buying isk, WELL WAKE UP CCP ITS YOUR OWN DOING! You all are doing this to yourselfs but not regulating GTC selling, of course people are going to goto the cheaper source. And yeah yeah eve has always had a player driven economy! but this is REAL LIFE MONEY we are talking about here. You know what I bet the economist they hired was just a way of finding out how many other different ways CCP could *****us in the behind financially.
Anyway my rant is over, I still love eve but hate management. I will probably get hundred flames .... but like I care ive said what I needed to say.
Oh yeah and my view arnt those of my corp alliance, blah blah blah (ur dumber than a box of rox if u thought so anyway).

In the very EARLY days of GTC trades, 30-day GTCs used to sell for as low as 100 mil ISK. Why aren't you complaining the reverse was out of control, when GTCs almost hit 200 mil per 30-day GTC ? Now it's somewhere in the middle... whoop, big deal.

Apparently people have no problems with getting 160M for a 30 day gtc, if they would, they would stop doing it, and prices would go up.
Oh and btw, just work for your isk if you got a problem with it :/

Nope, more sellers ..... if there was more buyers than sellers prices would increase ...... supply and demand. Well it could be argued either way ..... but what I know of eve prices would increase as sellers know they could get away with it. At least this is how it plays out in my head =P ----------

One difference between eBay/farmed ISK and GTC trade ISK, is that GTC ISK are usually made by Real People[tm] that don't live in third world countries slaving away for less than a dollar per hour and value their time differently. If I go and make ISK (be it 0.0 ratting, missioning, mining, etc. whatever floats your boat) let's assume I make 30-40mil per hour. Now that's roughly 4 hours of work for a GTC that you can buy at shatteredcrystal for like what, 15 USD? If I buy your GTC, I have now worked for an hourly rate of 3.75$ for you to make ISK for you.
I dunno about other countries, but I guess that's less than minimum wage in most first and maybe second world countries. Chalk the the difference to minimum or average wage up to "having fun" while making the ISK.
I see it that way, and from that perspective, I can fully understand the prices for GTC trades as opposed to eBay/RMT.

The price of a GTC is not dictated by you.
GTC's sales started off around the 100-150mil mark. If it is 160mil as you say, its still higher than what it used to be long ago.
Is it CCP's fault that players are choosing to sell at a price that they are happy with? Nope. Its actually you fault for not understanding how the free market works. --

Yeeehaaaa !!
On a more serious note - GTC<>Isk conversion sucks. RL money should have as lil influence on in game success as possible. Just my humble opinion.

Wow thanks for showing how n00b u are. Its those who sell the GTC that set the prices in reality, for the most part. However if people choose not to buy at what people are selling for, then sellers lower the price. But again its up to the sellers what they want to sell for. Act as smart as you want to, doesnt make it so. ----------

this has got to be one of the most idiotic post i have ever read.
why?
first of all CCP doesnt set the price on gtc to isk conversion. its the players who set the the price how much they want for the gtc. if players are willing to sell at 130mil per 90 day card.. well.. nothing you can do about it.
its basic supply vs demand. more demand... higher prices, higher supply... lower prices.
so if a player thinks hes 15 dollars is worth around 150mil isk... then he will sell it. if he doesnt like it.. he wount do it and thats it.
CCP cant and will not control the price...
so.. if you dont like it.. dont take part in it. dont whine at CCP about this.. makes you look stupid when they have absolutly nothing to do whit the value in iks that one gtc is worth :P ---------------------------------- Yes... this is my main. Extreme Troll Slayer...
