Any suggestions? I lost my Raven while in a mission. I was at the end of the fight and he came near my ship cloaked and intentially went into my smart bomb when I was in a mission. He then warp jammed and attacked me but I dont see any kill rights. I would like revenge and will not forget this. You are on my dead list Sprak. It might be weeks it might be months but I'll get you back you can bet the bank chump. Dirk

It happened to a friend a few days ago, he just got a new battleship, and was showing me and a corp mate what it could do, so we went to a belt, and found some rats, and he launched 3 cruise missiles, and then spit out a bomb, it hit me AND a stray cargo container, and he got concorded, it kinda sucked to because my corp mate felt sorry because they were the one who asked his to show what his ship could do, and he lost it, oh and btw, he didnt have insurance, thats why it was so bad, the ROKH BS, 131 million, ouch.....

I have done this before entering someones mission and cloaking upto them then watch them die in highsec as they smart bomb me lmao

By looting one of your wrecks he was flagged to you and you could of shot him for stealing from you, but he went around the game mechanics and decided to to loot from you so you would not get concorded and then head to your smartbomb so he would get aggro from you as well and he would be free to ransom you, or steal your loot from your wreck. This is clearly an exploit and I find it hard to think a GM wont replace your stuff and give the guy who did it a warning. If you dont get what you want from the first GM take it straight up the chain to the CEO or CCP until you get relief. Dont worry about what the ebil pirate griefers say, they have nothing better to do but think of ways to get what you have and then complain when you outsmart them from getting it.

For using an AoE type weapon you should be aware of the risks. consider this a good lesson for you. 2) I tip my hat to the crazy bastard that thought of getting his cloak on and waiting for a smartie ship to go off on top of him. I do wish that i was watching cause it would have made a nice video! first off, love the IQ test. geinus :) however, it's clear this guy didn't just wait for someone to come to him. he's a good hisec griefer, takes talent to pull that off. first he probed the mission, and fit accordingly i would assume. then he had to get into the mission unseen; and also take from dumba$ses wreck, then recloak. then im sure he slid right up into the smartie allowing the bomb to decloak him while making the aggro mutual. the rest is ofc, childs play. gratz on a funneh gank, and lolz at teh post from both F. dirk and the anon. corpmate who lost his rokh.

If he'd hit the guy with a smartbomb in high-sec then CONCORD would've dropped their donuts and came over to say hello (with their guns) - so this Sprak guy wouldn't have really had chance to scram & attack him, or at least it would've been somewhat academic once CONCORD appeared....

From experience in lvl 4 missions in low sec I can tell you....they can be your best friend. I was doing a lvl 4 mission in Floseswin and my Tempest was suddenly swarmed by Fighters. They dropped my shield and armor in no time and I just escaped in time. Smartbombs was the only thing I could use to get rid of them since they orbited closer than 5km. I also had the opportunity to pop some drones in PvP when fighting in a BS. 2 blasts from 2 large Smartbombs and boom, no more drones. Just have to make sure you don't pop your own drones if you are too close to your opponent.
