I can fully understand and respect MC for going Neutral, two alliances working that closely together and both with an EGO the size of the moon is never gonna go smoothly. MC wanted us to do it their way and we are used to do it our way and its worked for us in the past so there is a big clash of playstyles. That being said, it was pretty low for them to kick us while we were down and even lower to ride the cryolitions coat tails to capture a region. I just wanted to put in my 2 cents, and point out that BOB were not at all innocent in this entire thing. MC may have attacked BOB first, but it was only after we got poked with some really sharp sticks. So in the end. Good luck to everyone involved. They wanted standings without saying "Yes, we're in this for the haul, not just for a few weeks of pew pew and then we're done". We don't do useless blue standings anymore, had enough of that. As to the holier than thou approach when it comes to spying and meta gaming.. MC has always had spies in their war targets, there were a few dedicated people inside the MC that would always post snippets from alliance channels and forums of MC's war targets. Every game has the same crowd of sore losers. If you kill a boss in EQ or WoW as the first in the world, you exploited. If you completely dominate someone in Counterstrike, you're stupid aimbotters. If you have the dedication, organization and resources to steamroll someone in a manner that only BoB can it is not because we are dedicated, know game mechanics or just strife to be the best. No it's only because of spies, forum hacking (lol) and TS infiltration! The MC stories of BOB having spies on your TS are hilarious. You simply do not understand that an experienced FC with enough information can guess where you are going if we see you align into a certain direction. Seeing MC whine about things like that makes me cringe. It hurts me a little inside. I helped build the reputation of that alliance. And now the current membership is tarnishing that reputation by their actions in game and their attitude shown on these forums. The MC I know would never resort to suiciding battleships to get the insurance money. What happened to striving to be the best? What happened to "embracing the blob"? We will fight outnumbered so we will have to use other tactics to get on top. With the way eve is and the fact that neither us nor bob has 'better ships' and thus outnumbered = out gunned we will also be out gunned. Again, we will use tactics to create situations that are in our favor. At the end of the day, we will do what we can and we will make bob pay for every system they try to take. I will not lie...personally I could care less about J8-. I hate lag warfare...i hate fighting in the soup. I hate dieing in a fight w/o seeing the guy shooting me. I despise it. I am here because I have made a commitment to the MC, and to her allies. Many of you feel the same way...for you all we ask is that you log in when you can and you shoot what you can. I will be posting information to help you when fighting in the lag warfare shortly. Please review the Tortuga fleet fittings and working setting your ships similar to those. Standardized fittings in fleet and large scale engagements is extreamly useful. Due to OpSec i will obviously not be posting our plan here, but I will be getting with your leaders to help streamline the gameplan. One more thing, when bob were sieging our first set of towers that we dropped in TPAR way back when. Molle was fairly confident flying around in his avatar and I made him a promise...i told him that if i ever got that close with NH(my main who flies rapier and broadswords) again he'd lose that titan. Eventually we took TPAR, as I knew we would, but i never got a chance to fulfill my promise. Since I know you'll be reading this soon enough Molle all I will say to you is this.
