Edited by: Paul Lebaue on 27/04/2004 19:47:03 Greetings everyone,
It is time once again. Freelancing corp is seeking new freelancers to join our group. Be it individuals or groups. Look at our history and you will see a group of hardworking veteran Freelancers. We been there..... Done that..... and in the end survived and grown stronger from it. We are still around.. After months and months of continued existence in a hostile environment, with only our own corp mates to really count on we are still around to talk about it..
Why is that u say? Is it because we never venture out of Empire space? You can find most of our members busy outside the regions of the safe "Empire" space. From mining the precious rare ore to Hunting the pirates which infest the belts were the rare ores can be found, you can find us galaxy-wide, wherever you find us, you will always find a group of friendly players, who treat other players with respect & friendship, we hope they will return that goodwill.
Is it because we are Hardcore PvP's? Freelancing corp has always been by nature a peaceful and non-hostile corp. Unless you give us a reason not to be.. Although our records of PvP is not as extensive as some of the more established corps that claim to be hardcore PvP's, we are still more then capable of hitting back at our aggressors with a vengeance. We would not still be here if we lost those encounters..
What then u say? Are u like Xanadu and Techell in that u are manufacturing Tycoons and thus are rich? I have to say no... The corp by itself in its long existence only had at the most 15mill in the corp wallet. This was donated mainly by its members and by me the founder. this fund been basically used to pay office rent for all the offices that our corp occupies. Since this alone does not amount to any large amount and the corp has no other financial requirements there has really never been any reason to tax its members, and we still continue to have a no tax policy within the corp.
If this is true how do we acquire the necessary BP u ask? As I group I think we have every Tech1 BPO up to Cruisers, and at the moment 1 BS BPO. But all of these BP's are divided between all the individuals who owns them. Some have a more extensive collection then others. All acquired by the individuals own efforts.
You guys must be part of an alliance then, that gives you access to 0.0 areas to mine the rare ores and hunt NPC and helps your corp to progress. I have to say no. Although Freelancing Corp did, and still does, work closely with certain corps affiliated with different alliances. We as a corp have never been part of one.
Why is that u say? To be honest this subject has come on more then a few occasions. Especially now that all spaces in 0.0 space are being claimed by at least one alliance. But being part of any regional alliances means limiting yourself. And we as true Freelancers cant see ourselves doing that.. We go were opportunities arise. And we will continue to occupy areas of interest, as long as we see gains for us to be there. We have friends within different groups whom we assist from time to time no matter their affiliations, except for piracy since Freelancing corp have a large dislike for pirates.
So what can we offer u as an individual? Freedom.. Freedom to use your time within Eve as u like.. May it be exploring the Galaxy! Hunting down pirates and collecting their bounties! Running missions for Agents! Mining ore or Trading goods between the regions! Or indeed anything else you can think of doing in such a wide universe!!!
Its your time why should u not spend it the way u want to? The only things we do not accept are piracy, thievery and scamming. If any of this three things interest you then you need not apply because Freelancing corp will not accept individuals or groups whom choose this type of lifestyle.
What differs us from the other groups of Freelancers? One of the things I would say would be experience. We been around for awhile now and thus have good group of Veterans within our corp. Also I think we are one of the bigger groups of freelancers out there who have joined together. Also since we are an established corp our collection of items and BP's might be more extensive then most other Freelancing groups.. I could not in all honesty say that our corp or player are better than any others BUT I can to say this, the players in my corp are what makes this corp what it is today. And if it was not for them I would not be the pilot I am today. Although many whom I hold in high regard and consider as friends have moved on, their presence is something I will always miss. The ones that are still here will continue the legacy which was left behind by comrades long since gone.
The legacy of friendship and trust between comrades.. Without it this world surely be nothi

Edited by: Paul Lebaue on 27/04/2004 19:46:13 To give our new brothers and sisters who just graduated from their respective academies and wish to pursue the life of a Freelancer a chance to establish themselves. Freelancing Corp is offering to provide them any Tech 1 Frigate of their choice, upon acceptance of membership, and gear to fit their new ship. After that if the individual continues to progress within our corp, BYOM deals are made available to him/her. Our members can utilize the extensive BP collection of our group trough this BYOM deal. Although some might claim that other corps are more generous to its members I would just like to point out.
We as a group do not ask our members to support the corp in any way financially.
We do not force our members to work for the corp.
Events are created and members given a chance to participate but only on voluntary basis. And the gains made in those events are divided only between the participants.
Hope to meet and talk with u soon..
Main offices to apply to are: Renyn IX - Moon 4 - Federal Intelligence Office Logistics Support Renyn X - Moon 4 - Chemal Tech Factory

More specifically you can find them in 6EG in the Wildlands. They have a huge safespot there where they leave many ships unattended. I highly recommend that anyone looking for some free stuff go have a look. Also usually use G-0 as their base of operations for the 6EG mining ops.
Almost forgot, they use a lot of stabalisers and insta-jumps so you have to kill them when they jump in and before they warp. It's tricky but doable, and well worth the effort, nothing like free Arkonor. |

Greetings Jezebel,
Not sure we ever met cant recall ever meeting u. Allthough u seem to know more about us then we do you I am afraid your information is less then accurate. But I'll let the people u managed to convince to find it out on their own. Not sure what u hoped to gain but the least I can do I guess is offer thanks for bumping this thread for us.

Hey, hey... Nice to see the Lebaue boys still around.
Freelancing, whatever your beef with them, are pretty decent chaps all around. I'd run a blockade, or two, with them holding my back any day.
Even if I'm on the losing end at least I'll lose with some friends at my back that won't run out just becuase things get hot. Eve Guardian - Former Reporter

Greetings all.
Im a Senior Member of Freelancing Corp and can add a few details to the opening statments.
Jezebel's fairly accurate as we do use safespots very efficiently as we're mostly alone doing what we do. If Jezebels part of the Curse Alliance I don't blame her for trying to slander us, we've been mining "their" ark for months now.
We're also very skilled in evading capture and destruction by pc aggressors and is a huge reason why there are a whole lot of pirate corps that have Freelancing corp set to -10 standing.
We've refined and mastered the art of playing this game solo, or in very small groups. If it's the lonewolf gameplay you're looking for we can help you learn most everyting you need to know to survive and make tons and tons of money doing it.
If you're looking to play the game and be left the hell alone, this would be a good corp to pick. Nothings manditory, hell you don't even have to talk to us. We just want to make sure that it's known there is a place for the free spirited to play EvE in peace without the hassles of corp life and still have access to the knowledge that a strong corp has.

These are a good bunch of guys. They fight un-even odds (not to their advantage) and well have fun with it. No smack talk at all and trust worth to thier word when they say fights done they won't fire or lock.
Might not be happy with them because I'm still unable to get there safe spot but its a fun group to talk to. Fear The Bunny

Hmm, Jezebel seems to have a lot of information for someone that I've never seen in Curse. There are a couple CA names that pop into my mind as well as an ex-freelancer that might be your other character though.
Do I use safe spots in Curse? You Betcha!
Do I have a bunch of anchored cans to hold my ark till I get a chance to haul it back to the station? You Betcha!
Do I use a bunch of warp core stabilizers on my ships? Duh!! Only a NOOB wouldn't!!
Have I gotten rich from being a solo pilot mining "their" ark? Ohhhhh Yeaaaaa!!
The solo life in Eve is alive and well!!
Why join a standard corp where you'll become part of an alliance and have all the hassle of protecting "your" space?
I enjoy the freedom of flying through anyone's space. Sure I may have been put on a few Kill On Sight lists, but being on a list isn't the same as catching me.

Its nice to see u back in ur pilot seat my friend u been absent from all of us long enough. Thank you for ur kind words and your confidance in us. You and your crew have always been closest of friends to Freelancing Corp. We hope that this will continue on as long as both of our groups exists. Be well my friend and be safe as always..
Deathbith
Allthough I am a bit stunned to see u here painting us in such a way as you have, I really shouldnt be. It was alot of fun trying to fight you and yours. Allthough you honor us with ur words the same respect should be shown right back to you. The description you gave about us could easily be used to describe you as well. If once again we should meet on the battlefield, may it be on the opposite sides or togehter on the same side. Know this.. it will be an honor...
Joshua Calvert
By your own words Joshua I hope u know why Feelancing Corp gave u and yours the current standing we now hold with u. I hope u realise however that Freelancing corp does not harbour any ill feelings towards u and yours but is mearly showing that we are aware of your hostilities and making sure the rest of the group are made aware. However on a personal note I do thank u for ur words.

Hi Paul and hi to the other members as well.
Thank you for the invitation to join your corp. Among the offers I have been given I have found your corp the most fitting, so I'll be dropping by your channel tomorrow to say hi and hopefully become a part of your brotherhood as my first corp.
Hmmm... Ark sounds interesting. Jaspet is the highest valued ore I have mined yet

Hello Freelancers.
I'm part of a group that recently moved from WWII Online to play EVE. The 84th ARG. (Interestingly enough, our website is www.fightingfreelancers.com)
We're in the midst of deciding whether to start a corp of our own, or join one. Yours seems to closely mirror our own values, so I thought I would ask you a few questions.
1. Do you mind a group of Noobs, (Although fanatic, still noobish) joining? 2. What time do you guys usually play?
Thanks.

SO you and yours are mroe then wlecome to apply with us. Feel free to convo me or any of my members with any questions or concerns u might have. our active members can usally be found in our ingame chatroom "Freelancing" hope to see you there.

Hello Freelancing Corp! I am just on the verge of no longer being a noob. At least for things that can be done within Empire space that is. :) Anyway, I was in Ammold I think when I saw one of your cargo containers plugging your organization and I thought, "Now that seems like a place I can stretch my legs." Now having read through this thread I am most certain of it.
I'll be lookin you up when next I am in game, uhh, by yer leave of course. Now don't worry none, I don't need hand holdin or anything. Perhaps just a bit of advice on the best gear to outfit my ship with. Speaking of ships I'm already half way to my first Rupture... all on my own too. Anyway, I'm sure we'll talk at great lengths when I hook up with you in game. :)
Until then fly safe, fly free!
