Hi there :)
Well I have been playing with eve api and station names.
Now I knowe that I can download a list of eve mysql database and get the names from there, but is there a way to get tne station name ingame without having lo make an lookup in the database ??
well the problem is after what I have found out is that player made stations is not listet in the database parce and i would like to have a name on that station by using the station id.
can somone clear those info for me ??

check the API for those.
It was like a baby, it landed on my lap and was helpless and totally defenseless. Then I shot it and bragged about it on a killboard.

Well I have checked the api for those or maby I'm looking in the wrong xml file.
if there is a station list then what is the link to chatching that file ?

http://api.eve-online.com/eve/ConquerableStationList.xml.aspx
is the api file you want, that will only list player built (and the few conquerable npc) stations in game with their current names.

EVE-Dev: ID to Name Conversion
Conquerable Stations (aka Outposts):
EVE-Dev: Conquerable Stations
Player Owned Stations (POS):
EVE-Dev: Starbase List
(Unfortunately, it seems as though you cannot retrieve the POS name directly, but you may be able to resolve it by using the ID to Name conversion above. I'm about to try this at home  )

So it also works for corpID and allyID too?

Yep, seems to work for everything that would be included in the static dumps
