My fellow capsuleers, I am asking for your support in signing this petition to elicit an official response from the Gallente Federation following the tragic incident in Malkalen.
I do realize that this issue was raised before in other discussions, the issue being the complete absence of an official statement or any response from the Gallente Federation. But in those other discussions the question was left unanswered and became overridden by more theories and accusations.
I would kindly ask you not to use this petition to pose more theories, as this is the opposite of what I intend! The absence of any official statement is triggering all of that.
A denial, a condemnation, an investigation. We demand something!
Signed: Ellyra, Caldari citizen May the souls of the victims who fell in that dark day rest in peace.

Okay, let me put this simply because it seems the majority are either woefully ignorant, or have the mental capacity of a fedo stuck in an exhaust pipe.
One of the Federation's most decorated pilots that was flying the super carrier for the talks decided to take hostile action and suicide-rammed his flagship into the side of the Ishukone headquarters. This has caused a humanitarian incident and a diplomatic incident of epic proportions due to the nature of events - not to mention this puts the question of whether 1) the Alexander Noir was acting alone, 2) how much order and control does the Federal Navy have over its officers, 3) the Federation's legitimacy and truthfulness as well as how open it is to future investigations.
I'm not sure if you've actually realized this, but these events took place less than FOUR (4) days ago. How do you expect, let alone have the gall to demand an apology or even a statement if the Federation themselves are reeling from the shock and/or locking down assets to prevent escalation of conflicts?
So sit down and behave, let the internal inquiries start and stop this flooding of left-wing populist petitioning on the GalNet. Its highly annoying. -------

The Amarrian Theology Council had enough decency to call mourning. The corporations within Caldari State had enough decency to assist with the relief effort. The Gallente being involved from the very begining, theirs being the Wandering Saint and main suspect, decided to do nothing. No information of investigation, no mourning, no attempt to help save for brave capsulers to whom we all should be grateful. There is a great difference between taking your time to act while showing you're aware that you must act, and not doing anything. The Federation for some reason decided to sit back and enjoy the fire (literally).

The Republic was founded with the remnants of a civilization that was brutally enslaved and atacked by the Amarrians.
Their disputes are the ones of a wealthy nation in formation, and its only natural that such quarrels take place in a society that mixes tribal traditions with republican ones.

Now you claim that the intergalactic conflict between Gallente and Caldari is their exclussive buisiness, yet you had no problem with arming and equiping the mentioned non-terrorists as they rebelled against the Amarr Empire? Seems to me a lot of Federation citizens see themselves as the manifestation of the galactic justice of sorts. I wonder what are your thoughts about those of the gallenteans who to this day say that Caldari State should never have existed? If we brutally enslaved and attacked the Minmatar centuries ago, yet can recognize and tolerate them now without shoving an Aeon into their spacestations, who are you Federate loyalist?

This is a matter to be solved between the Federation and the Caldari State, as far as we all know there has been no direct involvement from either the Minmatar Republic or the Amarr Empire, so answering your question directly, Yes. This issue , is to be solved and settled by both Gallenteans and Caldari only because it was,
1. A Federation Navy Flagship that was involved in the Incident. 2. A Caldari Station was almost destroyed. 3. Ishkune lost their CEO. 4. We lost or Financial Minister.
So as far as the facts are presented there were no " Minmatar Terrorists" in this scenery.
The disputes of past between Gallente and Caldari do not concern me, they are worthy and most important subject of study and a good source to learn from, but completely irrelevant to today's day-to-day life and politics.
So my position regarding your acusation is this, the Caldari State exists and i personally think that it is best to maintain good relations with our neighbours.
As to the final question who am i, i am Dionisius, capusuleer pilot former liaison member of the Garoun Bank and currently assigned as a liaison between The Circle Corporation and the Federal Intelligence Office.

Involvement of the governments no, but victims yes. The matter is not exclusively between Caldai and Gallente.
Originally by: Dionisius So as far as the facts are presented there were no " Minmatar Terrorists" in this scenery.
My point is only that their nation was based on terrorist activity at crucial point escalated with the helping hand of Federation to civil war. Taking into account the past decades of further terroris attacks by Minmatar fanatics on the Empire, silently supported by their government, we do have the right to call them terrorists.
Originally by: Dionisius The disputes of past between Gallente and Caldari do not concern me, they are worthy and most important subject of study and a good source to learn from, but completely irrelevant to today's day-to-day life and politics.
Malkalen will be one of the relics proving what it means to underestimate the lessons of history.

I did not accuse you of that. I just wanted to point your attention towards some other individuals we can hear these days. Very loudly.

Well how to describe the whole Federation...
Democracy.
We may not be perfect, we may not be always right, but, we stand for freedom, freedom of speach, freedom to the individual to pursue his own goals and acomplish them to their full potential.
We are artisans, polititians, democrats, bureucrats, soldiers, people of the arts, homeless and rich.
We are stubburn, we are receptive to new ideias and ideials, we are vengefull and forgiving, we are cold and passionate, we are the defenders of freedom, the jail guard of opression.
We are perfect, we are unperfect.
We are human.
We are a colective of individuals, families, houses, organizations, we work towards progress and the comon good.
The Federation is me and all its citizens, from the poor beggar in the streets to the president in the senate.
Together we prosper, we suffer, we fight, we win, we loose, we acomplish, we fail, we start and finish.
We MR. Marelor, the Federation is WE.

Poetic... touching even, though pretty much the same, give or take a few phrases, can be said by citizen of any of the nations in New Eden. May I ask whether thrusting the Wandering Saint into Ishukone station was manifestation of prosperity? Failure? Victory? For what freedom did Admiral Noir stand, should he be found guilty of this act which is most probable now? Because what he did acomplish, for the Federation and the New Eden, is certainly a lot of suffering and possibly a start of a huge war. How does plunging probably half of the Galaxy into war by one man, who was given sufficient tools for that by the Federation, support democracy?

We are now on the fourth day since impact.
In that time, Search and Rescue has been conducted, and then called off. The Caldari State in general, and Hyasyoda in particular have rushed to Ishukone's aid. Capsuleer corporations from across New Eden provided support, supplies and aid within hours or even minutes of the impact.
The logistical framework necessary to begin repairing the damage done has already put in place, high-ranking government agents across all four empires are contracting freelance capsuleers to help them assist in their nation's war preparation efforts, and hope that there are any survivors left on that station who have not been rescude is now dwindling almost to zero.
And yet the Federation remains stubbornly tight-lipped.
Why? there's been more than enough time for... well, pretty much anything. Where were the fleets of unarmed transports filled with desperately-needed supplies and manpower? Where was the official national apology? Where was the Federation-wide address from President Fioritain?
Failing all those more well-meaning options, where was the formal statement of war, or the proud claim to have struck "a mighty blow for democracy", or some similar fedo-gas?
There has been more than enough time for some Federation official somewhere to scribble down a speech, stand in front of a news camera and make an offical, international statement. It has not happened.
Your own people are demanding answers as well, Federation. If you truly are a democracy, I suggest you give them what they want. -

It is no time to fiddle with words. What did the act of crashing a Nyx into non-hostile station manifest to New Eden about principles of the Gallente Federation.
Originally by: Dionisius The Federation still has to issue a comunication regarding this matter so we need to await and see what happened.
As Mr Stitcher already pointed out the announcement is already a very delayed one, on the brink of never being made. For me the silence of your govrnment is very meaningful though and it does not bear any of the pompatic phrases you so eagerly listed tonight. But maybe I am wrong. Tell we, what about the Federation do we learn by its absolute state of stasis and inaction towards the tragedy in Malkalen?
