Originally by: Ambo I can't believe so many people are giving this credibility. Who knows, it might actually be a genuine attempt to run an IPO. I wouldn't bank on it though, if it's not a straight up scam (and I doubt it is for a paltry 5 bil), then it's an attempt to raise the profile of a self-confessed scammer wannabe in order to go bigger in the future.
My view too on this matter.I am gonna keep an eye on this one for sure.Verry curious what comes out of it.

Ambo's post on the first page, perhaps accidentally, summed up most of the solid reasons why a self-interested solo investor would see this as a fairly low-risk, decent-return investment.
I'm sorry that I can't pretend to be taking a 'principled stand for the good of the MD community', which seems to be flavour of the month/year.
Every investment is of course a subjective matter, and I actually believe we're seeing the "Ricdic sheep effect" in evidence here - but not, curiously, coming from those who have chosen to invest.
Well it's fairly simple.New people like me read the threads here and see the same names over and over again. So you automaticcaly start thinking these people know what they are doing thus you follow them in the shares/bonds they themselves venture in. In my case i'm in here long enough to have seen many posts made by the OP and thus can't see myself investing in any of his deals.I can not say if he will or will not scam at a certain point but i can not say that for any investments i made in here. However with some people you just get that 'feeling' something's fishy.
Still speaking for myself i ALLWAYS check what the regulars in here will do/ask before investing some isk in an IPO/BOND.HOWEVER i will not follow any of these names in investing after thinking hard for myself about the investment.Hence why i didn't invest in this one.
Good luck to the OP though...IF he is not a scammer in the end then he surely had some rough winds to prove he had no bad intentions.

And that's what i meant when i said : ''HOWEVER i will not follow any of these names in investing after thinking hard for myself about the investment.Hence why i didn't invest in this one.''

I apologise if it sounded like I was directing that specifically at you, flakeys. It was a generalisation not directed at anyone in particular. Sorry.
Not taken as any offence directly at me mate ... just wanted to clarify that we where on the same lvel there.
