This is needed for sure, this way the CSM will get a better picture of the scope of an issue. And if one playergroup really thinks to vote against one topic, the CSM still sees the thumbs-up and can decide themself. |

In addition to a neutral and thumbs down, a summary of the total "votes" thumb up/down and neutral vs the total post count would be good. That way you can see also how much is discussion vs votes only.

If the meaning of a thumbs up is simply support for the topic, for the purpose of gaining the 5% rule, then does this suggest that:
1) The character based thumbs up/down enables people to post 3 times per account.
2) There is no need for a thumbs-down because a thread because no thumbs = no support to force the vote through.
3) A thumb up down mechanism on a OP isn't sufficient, as the OP will just the topic, but doesn't address all the pros and cons listed by people replying.
A more advanced (and useful to the CSM) would be support for the views expressed in the posts. So the addition of a thumbs/down option on each post, or a rating system on the thread for useful posts.
This tbh.
A thumbs down negate thumbs up would lead to alt poster "thumb-wars". (yes, thumb wrestling can also be called thumb war)
