I used the autoupdate, but it didn't upload all my skills (darc ochre processing, hemophrite processing, torpedoes, longe range targeting werent showing after download). They are mentioned in the xml file however

Thanks.
Try updating again after you do it the first time. I've noticed that sometimes lag can cause it to not update certain skills. I have all of the ones mentioned above, and they do update for me....so it's not a spreadsheet issue.

It's looking very awesome indeed.
The debug error some people have been having is a port blocking issue, my home machine works great, but my work machine doesn't. I disabled excel's internet access on my home machine and re-ran the macro and it failed with the debug error. So anyone who is having problems with this from work can blame their friendly neighbourhood sysadmin. If you work for the same company as I do, then that's pretty handy, because that's me
I've also had the same problem with the spreadsheet updating though, It works the second time when I hit ctrl+G but never the first. The first time it's run it fills all the skill point fields with 0's.
Another minor problem is the skillbook field is protected and also the distribution contains some fields that have contents, flagging it as you having a skillbook when you may not.
Some pretty minor issues on an awesome bit of work, and what I'm sure is a huge timesink for you.

I dont beleive this is the problem Im having depsite the fact that Im getting a run time error as well. Ive screwed with the sheet creating my own query and that query works. But I did not change any access rules.

First of all, awesome job, wish I had the skills to do it myself :-)
I have had 1 minor problem with the auto update feature. Whenever I run it the skills Long Range Targeting and Torpedos never get updated.
Is it possible that thier position in the spreadsheet is causing this problem? I wanted to attempt to move the fields so that they correspond to the locations in the skill list but I wasn't sure if it would screw with other calculations in the sheet.
Also I have a bunch of Blood Raider and Sansha logs I would be willing to put on escrow for you to help with your list. Eve mail me in game if you are interested in them. I usually just trash them, at least giving them to you would put them to use. 2005.01.21 05:09:06combatYour Tachyon Beam Laser I perfectly strikes Blood Priest, wrecking for 533.1 damage. |

So, please tell us which port(s) need to be unblocked then? ------------------------ Collector and flyer of starships

Doesn't OpenOffice ask you what tabs to import?
If so - just skip the chart.

To be honest, I dont think my sending it will help you. All I did was delete the query you had at I9 on the sheet in question. I then created a new web query, trying to make it identical to your original query. The data does import, but it does not format with the sheet properly. I get it all displayed exactly the way its displayed on the XML web page. The macro runs to the end this way, but of course its useless. And since Im an absolute newb with this stuff I have no idea how to format it.
Looking around on the web I think its an issue with Excel 2000 and XML(meaning that Excel 2000 is not designed as well as later Excel versions are for XML importation.) My guess is a bunch of scripting has to be done in the background to import XML properly, but I have no idea how to do this.
