Not that google knows of, I find it suprising that the FULL api documention or best available comes from a 3rd party site instead of ccp :/

There was a generator that blew out last night @ the facility so i am guessing that the eve-dev server was on those racks affected by the outage.. guess we have to wait and see when it comes back up.

I was also wanting to look something up today.
I'll gladly rehost eve-dev & the wiki if the server can't be fixxed.
or a temporary mirror if the owner has a backup and wants to share it.

The server is as last time of contact alive and well but data was being migrated off it for relocation last time I heard anything. Data's safe, anyway, so we just have to wait till we get back online. Use Google Caches and other cache resources; it's not a long-term thing, I suspect it'll all be fixed by tomorrow.

yeah, i am waiting desperately too for the eve api doc at eve-dev to come back up... :) i just read through their forum with the updates how they are fixing their computer center... poor guys. they must be working like 20 hours a day and sleep like 4... hope they get everything working again soon...

It appears that the domain has reverted to a parked status or they are moving the domain to another host. Has some joker.com parked page now.

Not to be rude, Toko, but I'd prefer a new site (if the original doesn't get put back up) to be done on a paid host. Free hosting companies just aren't very reliable...

I have a site5 account which isn't being used that much, and is paid in advance for the next 4 years.
I am more than happy to host a site for free for the ongoing development of the killboard.
My account allows for:
1.5TB storage
15TB Bandwidth per month.
They will have their own cpanel etc.
The hosting will only be available to the developers of the killboard though.
All I would need is a domain name to point to one of my accounts.

Hosting is pretty much sorted- I believe the original server is to be restored, anyway.
For a site like EVE-Dev, a dedicated server is more the sort of thing that would be needed- cPanel's all very well but is a right PITA when trying to do anything particularly complex server-side :)
The solution here is to hold on for a bit; a concrete fix will be forthcoming shortly. Speculation and offers of hosting are fairly useless, the latter especially so as nobody knows if eve-dev even has a hosting issue or if it's just a domain problem.

In the meanwhile I'm looking at the new killmail format in grief and horror, hoping for a swift official update rather than the quick-and-dirty patch.
Hopefully the API will still work (XML, thank god for selective parsing rather than patterns), but I'd fear synchronisation issues after a fix is issued.

Eve-dev has the potential for greatness with the right server admin and a VPS/more funding. It needs to work like sourceforge, providing a web-based subversion backend for basically anyone that wants to start a project and provide easy download links and wiki for non-developers searchable by the front page. It wouldn't take much development at all and there is plenty of talented php developers around to do it.
I say to Andrew Gunn or any of the original eve-devvers out there, sort out a paypal donation link for a VPS or some server hardware and build a small team to make eve-forge, readygo.
