Anyone who's anyone know's the history of the North. After the fall of D2 the north became home to BoB pets, and then TRI and the remenants of the old north once the pets had been kicked out. With the recent fall of TRI and retreat of INSURG, the old north (MM, RZR, IRON, PURE and various smaller alliances) now finds itself in full control of the northern part of the map, secure in their space to recover from the long conflicts of the past.
Or is it? RA has made it clear they want Pure Blind, Fade and Cloud Ring for themselves, regions which are generally regarded as part of the northern territory. At the same time Goons are killing off the North's little brother, SMASHKILL. These are both entities blue to the North, and yet it would seem they are agressively acting against Northern interests.
When does the North draw the line? How long before it gets fed up with the pillaging of their high end moons, and the destruction of their allies? The Northern and Southern coalition continue to maintain that they have good relations, but it comes now to the point where the North must either push back, or lay down for their Southern masters.

No one besides RA in pure blind/fade/cloud ring is blue... so why is it our concern with what RA does to it?
Also fade/pureblind / cloud was D2's and youwhats, as far as I know, no one currently in the north ever lived there... so again why do we care? We don't...
Goons and smash have always had problems and frankly it was only a matter of time till things happened territory wise between them.

I am really hoping this isn't a Smashkill alt, because if it is he deserves a smack. If it is it's one of the cearbears mad they can't peacefully suck off moons anymore, because most of us welcome this invasion as great fun we don't have to roam for.
Bringing the fight to RK space is like throwing the rabbit in the briar patch. All the losses and wins both have been fun. Contrary to what Goons claim taking stations, RK is FAR from crumbling.

BoB isn't going to save anyone unless it directly benefits them. A lot of people wanted them dead, and now that some of those people are being killed by their own "allies" from the great war, theres not a more fitting end for them.
As BoB advances into an additional two regions (on top of their current 3) I doubt they will be concerned with saving smashkill.

Roadkill was there when Razor was fighting to get their space back and when the BoB friendly alliances were kicked out of the north afer MC left. EVen if they dont like Roadkill, they seem good enough when Razor needs help semself.

Do people want the NC to be a massive karma police that get involved in every single conflict in the North? Individual alliances should look after issues revolving around themselves and someone else they have issue with. Global decisions/involvement should be reserved for events which impact the entire coalition.
Smash and Goons have had bad blood since the BoB war, they need to resolve their differences.
A whole bunch of alliances claimed territory in the wake of Tri's disbanding. RA is well within their right to challenge the claim. I personally feel sorry for ATF who has been in the region a while but ultimately alliances need to decide their own fate. Nobody really has a right to any space, people either hold space by force, by economics or by politics. I hope ATF recover from the setback but they really have to be the ones to decide their own fate.

Until anyone from the south with some firepower behind them (thats probably only bob) decides they want to attack the north which is unlikely then the north will stay the same for a long time. Iron now have deklein and all its nice high moons, tbh the north is kinda boring now, same ol same ol..the true powers up there are MM and Razor perhaps Iron as well, not sure about Pure really and hydra well enough said. Remove MM and Razor the north will crumble. Trouble is cant see that happening anytime soon..MM have become pretty powerful with all their titans. Still think CCP should limit 1 titan per alliance, but hey thats me..

1b isk per titan is a small price to pay if they made it one per alliance. Then you just see a BoB fleet + Bob alt alliance 1-10 for each titan.
While one may interperet what I said as telling the North to go save SMASHKILL, what I was getting at is why the north is so complacent in recent conflicts. Their allies are getting killed by their other allies, and their neighboring regions are being gobbled up by people with questionable goals, blue though they may be. It would seem to me that being so passive in such circumstances will ultimately lead to failure due to the eventual loss of allies denial of resources.

as i said there are are only 4 alliances MM, Pure, Razor and Iron who are TRULY allies, The others are there cos they let them, look at CPU, Insurg, Rare Faction etc..didnt last long and fought each other, even though they were blue to at least one of the major alliances, and MM particulary dont like renter/resident blues so they dont nap them just cos they may be napped to Razor. hence the reason for 'supposed' ally kills, when infact they are not allied at all.

Smashkill was there sieging **** towers in Tenal a year ago during US TZ.
They sieged more towers than RZR itself.
But RZR are scared of their new masters to help them :-)

I think you have it backwards Mr. Hooch. People always seem to forget and move on.
BOB used exploits and had DEVĘs in the ranks. Goons have cleared this up and BOB is now playing by the rules.
Goons might blob and crash the server but they do this because they lack the skill to use ever numbers. Goons only do well VS station fighting when they have the numbers and you must fight or lose the station.

If anything, it should be BoB thatĘs upset at CCP for allowing their employee to get in to BoB and cheat, causing a huge controversy and not even getting punished. If people need to blame and be upset at someone, look no farther then CCP.

Actually I lived there for half of my EVE life and never been sucked and never had to suck, there is no gatecamp that cannot be killed and there is great HYDRA respawn potential there.
