The only Bruce that are in Syndicate die moderatley quickly, unless the remain docked. Other than that, there isnt much of a "significant" presence of Bruce in Syndicate.

I haven't fought any of the OSS guys yet, dont know why cuz I go to their systems as much as possible. Huzzah brings it every day as they just overwhelm us with numbers (BRUCE getting blobbed? lol) and at night (central US) we tend to easily outnumber them and go on roams and such. Last night was kinda fun with the 6-c gatecamp where we got yall crpw then it was a race to get to the damnation but he got away and we only got that taranis but then your gatecamp fleet came in with about double our numbers so we retreated. This happened at like 4 in the morning for me when the UK guys are coming on in good numbers. I dislike the station games but syndicates pretty fun for small roaming gangs.

Here you could read a well thought-out heads up post by a zombie alliance. BRUCE got kicked into meaningless. Attention whoring is the new strategy. If they had style, they had disbanded. But now... well nurture his post it might be one of the last by BRUCE. But... there is somethign left to do:
Dear IronGoldEagle (I know you wish you were),
how does it feel to be a nobody of a nobody alliance, which nobody respects, since nobody in your alliance had the balls to either die in flames or close doors? BRUCE - they all either left their alliance or just faded away...
How does it feel showing off a fail alliance tag all day long? Are you proud?
Yours most kindly
Mary Anne

lulz. The only time you've ever undocked and went to OSS space you were podded, same thing happened when you went to NOTR space. We scour syndicate looking for these mythical bruce gangs in USTZ, they don't exist. Only place you can find bruce in any numbers is in Genesis or jita. Enjoy the stations in T22 but stop pretending that you are relevant.

It seems that internet spaceships are serious business in BRUCE.
------- 2008.06.01 16:10 Hello Midgath,
I read your Bruce forum post with interest. Apparently you disagreed with the leadership of the alliance you joined and decided to betray and steal from the hundreds of players that trusted you. This shows how untrustworthy you are. This is more than a gaming role-play and indicates a character flaw that is part of your RL.
To protect RL people I have sent your post to the Dept. of Homeland Security for your record. They will have no trouble tracing you. I would not apply for any position that requires a security check if I were you.

As I have no idea who you are I can only conclude that fried continued his nasty habit of never letting anything go, feigning outrage anytime someone refused to acknowledge him as some kind of messiah. He was still telling stories about Olex Grant years afterwards so I'm sure he's still telling his puppets stories about me. There never was any bruce drama involving me, bruce leadership decided to be douchebags, I called them on it and left. If I had to guess i'd say they are still douchebags.

Wow....just Wow.
The only person i see here with a chip on their shoulder is you Raj. In all fairness you are still bent that in there prime BRUCE under the leadership of Friedrick pounded your alliance into nothingness. You then spent time camping stations in a carrier long after all your members left you and then applied to bruce. Oh wait!! thats right, you applied to bruce after being beaten by them.
Bruce will live or die as no ones pet, unlike what you wanted to be.
Now Go spew your venom in the mirror, for the only person you insult is yourself everytime you post.

Dear Sorrowed,
so much bitterness and sorrow - just for people writing the truth about... fail.
"Bruce will live or die as no ones pet, unlike what you wanted to be." - you are indeed right. BRUCE was fleeing, running, panicking like a beaten dog into meaninglessness - to reform in Syndicate with their tight knit likeminded hardcore players (as if those ever existed besides blobbing carebears). So much bitterness when seeing and reading the truth?
I will dry your tears - come into my arms.

Bruce moved gear to a deadend System (T22) in the Y4-constellation (so called "PC9-pocket", currently inhabited by Huzzah Federation) with the goal to retake the constellation for "rebuilding".
Our experience is: They stay docked or cloaked most of the time and are almost unavailable for fights. Except one battle, which Bruce lost, in the last 4 weeks really nothing mentionable happens except carrier jumps by Bruce in US TZ and an occasional Recon gang. Oh well, I forgot an unguarded large domination tower, which a Bruce tried to anchor - it went poof even before they were able to stront it.
Overall picture is: Everybody seems to be able to continue business as usual except there are some reds in local - mostly we go just "ganking Bruce" with them showing "a little bit lack of experience and good intel". One Bruce told me in local told me they wanted to "shut down industrial operations within the pocket", we still wonder what industrial operations they were talking about It seems, they do not know Huzzah very well, even if we have hostilities now for two (?) years.
Also we have a nice little campaign on our killboard right now, I really do not want to go into chestbeating here... Anyhow it shows roughly 350 Bruce losses (those were no shuttles) since they "moved in" a month ago - compared to around 65 kills by them in whole Syndicate. This shows their current insignificance compared to all other, even smaller, entitites which live here.
This, anyhow, are my personal views of the situation...

Dear Wendat,
they are still in midwarp it seems. Still I heard rumours that people were really impressed by the BRUCE firesales in PNQ station. Somethign along the line of nearly all stuff at 15% - 50% off Jita prices. Yeah, I know that is the true attitude of tight knit likeminded hardcore players. Really is.
I hope you got the information you requested.

All he needs to do is either spend the two required minutes to ask the right people, or use an exsisting thread. Simpleton questions like this are not thread worthy.
As laughable as COAD is these day, the increasing amount of one sentence threads still ****es me off no end.
You need a reality check if you think me using 'curse words' is an attempt to 'act tough' over the internet.

So BRUCE hires mercs to get the cluster in the first place. Maybe time to shop out another merc contract to get it back again. Once you've done that all you need to do is pick a new cult leader, recruit agressively till you are huge, fly off to "real" 0.0 then explode again!
Rinse then repeat.....
If you want to really make it circular, We'll rejoin then you can start the cycle off again by kicking us out! It would be just like old times! :-)
Seriously, why don't the dedicated PvPers disband BRUCE and start your own new alliance. Clean slate, fresh history to make your own. The BRUCE legacy doesn't seem to hold much value anymore.
Also, consider a name less pretentious, "Brutally Clever"? Kind of sad looking at how it ended.

You equate a small battle post as being pro-BRUCE? I was a member who served them faithfully until I felt that the alliance was hurting my fun and my corps survival for a few weeks. When I tried to ask for change in that situation it was not received warmly and so I left. I'm more of a TGRAD than a BRUCE any day and I'll be happy to ask readmittance should they leave. |
