I am proud to announce the official launch of Kwint Industries. I have cleared all debts, obligations and responsibilities, public and private, and I am now in a position to take on new public funds.
The Technical Stuff
My last offer was intended to test the waters. With it in mind I am going to offer a weekly rate of 1.25% which may seem low but, with perfect reinvestment, it works out to the same rate as the previous bond.
This will be a bond paying 1.25%. It will run at least until the fall at which time my studies may force me to cut back on my time in EVE. I will buy back shares at face value (fixed at 1M each) with a minimum of 2-weeks notice.
The funds will be invested in low risk ventures and both their rate and value is guaranteed by me. In the event investments perform poorly I will make the interest payments from my own assets.
I am placing a hard cap at 20B as this is roughly equivalent to my total assets and I am not prepared to do any more than double my current investments. I am also capping individual investments at 1B to limit my exposure to withdrawals. For those looking to make a longer-term investment IÆm willing to negotiate this cap.
The bond will consist of 20,000 shares in Kwint Industries Holding Corp worth 1M each. Dividends of 1.25% will be paid every Friday for the length of the bond.
The minimum per investor is 100M though IÆm happy to sell individual shares to existing investors. The minimum for the total venture is 3B, without that I wonÆt go forward.
Bonds will only be sold on Saturdays. Please send all ISK to Kwint Sommer and only Kwint Sommer, I may use Kwint alts to post but never send ISK to anyone other than the original Kwint Sommer.

A Bit About Me
IÆm an undergrad at MIT (check my signatureÆs host) whoÆs working on a degree in Nuclear Engineering. Last year that took up a lot of my time, hence I only considered doing one, extremely high yield IPO and that fell through do to alliance issues. But now classes are out and IÆm ready to take on substantial public debt.
I like a good risk (ha ha, the nuclear engineer likes risks) and IÆve invested in a fair number over my career. At the moment I have a significant chunk of FRPB shares acquired well below face value. Maybe IÆll more than double my ISK, maybe IÆm out a billion. I was the first person to make a non-retracted investment in Amarr CitizenÆs gambling IPO and itÆs paying well. I loaned 3B to a guy with no security or history on MD and made 10% monthly. Before Jump Freighters existed I moved more than 10B in ferrogel through low sec, by myself. Now I can fly in the safety of my jump freighter which ironically reflects my biggest loss as I bought it at 7B and it has depreciated a hell of a lot.
The core of my business is moon mining and reacting in low sec. This can be quite profitable but quite dangerous too. I got reminded of that this week when some pirates started shooting up some of my more remote POSÆs. The situation has been dealt with but it was serious enough to delay this offering by nearly a week.
As much as I like these things, theyÆre, well, risky and in my mind not suitable for an IPO as the income derived from them is not stable nor is the principle secure. Presently my ISK is pretty well diversified between shares, commodity trading and my low sec adventures. The plan here is to take public capital and invest it in relatively safe things that I can rapidly divest myself of in the event that people want to withdraw. This will free up all of my ISK for the riskier investments. So, IÆll continue to have a decently diversified portfolio but now the risky stuff will be entirely my capital and investors money will go into safer, mostly trading based, things.
As to whether or not this is a scam: Well, letÆs just say that if I wanted it I could get more than 20B through GTCÆs so itÆs not about the ISK. You donÆt get to MIT by taking the easy way out and I havenÆt spent the year getting to know the members of MD and building a reputation just to **** it all away in exchange for ISK I donÆt need. My current assets are more than enough to support my PVP habit. This is about challenging myself and earning respect.
Security: I am happy to offer security so long as it does not seriously hinder my ability to turn a profit. Sadly, I see no easy way to do this. But if anyone has suggestions IÆm open to them. IÆm also open to any questions and an audit of both of my accounts. The only caveat is that I am not comfortable disclosing the locations of my moons so I would start a trial account and make that character CEO and remove my other charactersÆ director rolls during the audit. Otherwise, IÆm an open book.

EBANK would like to make an offer of 5 billion isk. As a result of such a large investment we are happy to accept an extended withdrawal delay that suits your business as we don't really expect to pull out of this investment at any time during it's operation.

I'll take the minimum 100mill worth of shares. I don't usually buy into investments all that often but I really just want to own a piece of yours so I can post my opinions in your threads as an investor with a voice rather than as a troll like I usually do.

Edit #2: I would reserve the full 1 bill or more but I want to leave room for other investors to get in on this. If it turns out Kwint is short of his goal by up to 5 bill I will make up the difference.
