This is my first investment ever, and I'm not sure how this "shares" thing works.
Is Kwint's job to keep track of who owns how many shares, or what? What are the mechanics of this thing?
I got an email from Kwint a few hours ago, which looked like a receipt, but is there some proof of share ownership? In-game or out-of-game?

If you check the "shares" tab in your wallet you should see 1 share of Kwint Industries Holding Corp per million invested. These are not just your proof of investment but allow me to easily pay dividends to all investors, this is how you will receive the weekly interest payments.
Should you wish to cash out you can contact me with 2-weeks (or more) notice and I'll arrange to buy the shares back at face value. Alternatively, you can sell them on this forum to immediate get whatever the public is willing to pay. Given the way the bond market is going you might just get above face value....

My apologies at the delay. It's graduation time here at MIT and I spent the day at a friend's graduation party on the other side of Massachusetts. I literally just walked in so I'll log in now and straighten things out.
I may have been a bit slow on the bureaucratic end but I've already gotten 6B into profitable enterprises and hopefully I'll have it all moving by the end of the week.
