Hi all,
If I accept a mission that takes place in a deadspace, can other players find my location and warp to me? I'd like to do a mission in 0.4, but I'm really not set up to fight random pirates... |

Yes, they can locate you, but when they attempt to warp to you they'll end up at the deadspace acceleration gate entrance, at which point they can enter and follow you.
At least, this is what I've experienced.

yes it can certinally happen, but at the same time in the systems I have been in, 95% of the pirates have been gate campers.

Yes, they can. Deadspace is just a bit more difficult to find. But the longer you spend on the mission, the greater the chances they will find you.
And if you deploy drones, that signals to a probe "Hey bubba! I'm over here!" ----------- Amused pilot |

Yes, they can. With that said, you are in more danger jumping through the first gate into low sec. Some pirates, especially the fine gentlemen in Decon, are exceptionally good at probing. ------------

Thanks to CCP, a goodly portion of mission runners no longer inhabit low sec due to the ease of probing mission runners out. Either find a good quality agent in Hi Sec or join a alliance that controls npc stations in zero sec. Unless you have time to sit around all day waiting for known low sec mission gankers to leave, you'll make more isk in Hi Sec than on low.

To be fair, that sentence has a closely related correlary which would go like this:
Thanks to CCP, a goodly portion of mission runners no longer inhabit losec due to the ease and profitability of running missions elsewhere.
OTOH, a few people do seem to have fun and make decent isk running in losec anyway. * * * In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.
